Audio of Lana reading the Whitman poem, set to the Cola instrumental so that it's a good introduction to both a generally sad playlist but also the sexier Playing Dangerous, which can read a little random otherwise. Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=FLbEaOFXvtA Well I obviously have "Lana Del Ray - Demos" and "Born to Die - Demos", but for others like Making Out, Dum Dum, and On Our Way I have "Vol. V: Demos & Alternates". Always either use the final take or the first version (if neither is specified as a demo) for the main playlist, although I listen to some demos and alternates more. Also Vol. VI: Live, Vol. VII: Instrumentals, and Vol. VIII: Remixes.

You're not making lanacollective, are you?

Sell the extra to this guy so he leaves me alone The mutual sympathy here is boundless if that's the case. Ugh, even "ooooh, but you're there for the opening act, aren't you?", all distasteful. Eat a dick.

AGGGGGHHHHHHH This stupid douchebag is going to the same Marina/Charli show that I'm going to (after I stupidly mentioned it to him) and now he wants to carpool! Noooooooooooo

Minor General Questions that Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

Why have I seen some people call "You're Gonna Love Me" God's Plan? Ongoing problem. -
Oh my god, someone please size this to be around the original and make the background transparent.

The Paradise Edition teaser video is better than Summertime Sadness.

LANALYSIS: Relating Songs To Known/Assumed Relationships
Sitar replied to Sitar's topic in Lana Thoughts
Admire this but there's a lot of fundamentals that I disagree with Like Radio and Bel Air being about Jimmy...I think Bel Air references the city, not the car. Also I have Lolita as a Mr. Campbell track. -
Um I'm the only one who likes Bradley's image though so maybe you still need to hunt PrettyBaby is doing a good job of promoting my system, so I oughta update it since several things have leaked since then. Plus I changed the order of volume 2 because I think Us Against the World and Summer of Sam need a buffer. Of course, that means I sacrificed the buffer between Fake Diamond and Puppy Love that PB praised Vol. I: South Beach Swing Vol. II: Miss America Vol. III: American Dream Vol. IV: Daddy Issues

How did this happen? I hear "let my car run out"...Weird, though. I guess she just means driving until she's out of gas. Otherwise, totally perplexed. Hey, it's the only song of theirs I have and it's because of Charli...she wrote it, she sings the entire time

Is it blasphemy to change "I Love It" to Charli XCX feat. Icona Pop?

She does seem to be ripping her schtick for her next album...The poor bitch in a motel thing... That said, Feel Myself is pretty good and I can see myself enjoying Trouble.

Well, St. Tropez was the missing link in fitting Summer Wine into my Miss America playlist perfectly. Heaven-sent Although is Ooh Baby alright after Summer Wine? Not particularly offensive, but maybe I should move Back to tha Basics there or something.

Oh is this a real conflict? I'm sorry, I mean it's just standard procedure. We love discussing freaky organization here

No idea how some of you can keep such a giant unreleased album. Merged anyway I mean it's been going since October so

I already posted the Zoo cover, so I'll keep going. I mean COME ON. HipsterRunoff seething at her fame. Every candid I've ever loved has been lost in the sands of time unfortunately.
