  1. Copying the new queen of breakup songs, I see. Smart move, T-Baby, next you'll be sitting in a chair for a whole video :mhm: I actually like Anthony Mandler, though, he chose my desperate ass at the Ride screening Q&A.
  2. Kill Kill 32 Queen of the Gas Station 6 For K Part 2 34 Mermaid Motel 22 Yayo 0 Who's next? :flawless:
  3. Fond as well Thanks PB! You know, and not just because Jake likes it, but I think My Best Days should be by Blue Velvet in this scenario, although I see what you're getting at with the outro. Perhaps the problem her is putting Every Man Has His Wish after Radio. Like the For K/End of the World switch, however.

    Charli XCX

Any idea when it should be released?
  7. Arthur Lynn song, Mo, but I'll forgive you for avoiding Lanalysis. Anyway, awesome post, evil! I'll be happy to just directly quote you like the Mr. Campbell stuff in Lanalysis--it doesn't do much for "relating songs", but it's interesting regarding her relationship. ("Put Me in a Movie" was recorded far too early to be a Mike song, despite that disgustingly fortuitous title.) And since MM is a "filmmaker", it's only a matter of time before that sextape you all thirst surfaces Would rather see Reeve naked, even Jimmy...hell, even Bradley before Mike, too. But let's not with that

  9. I think "Elvis" would be fantastic with her current voice and style Mo has me craving a carnival-esque Money Hunny, but his suffices for now :flutter:
  10. Um the best song on Born to Die remains unbothered Radio should have been long gone. And Million Dollar Man should stay but I voted smartly because OTTR has the lowest amount and just isn't leaving.

Yayo doesn't do it for you? Looks like my taste has been pretty predictable, I suppose I'm not much of a boat rocker in my musical preferences. Speaking of her official releases, is this critical acclaim from her one album or from the impressive unreleased stuff? Should I hear her album? Let me say with 100% for-sure-ziness: Cassie's modeling >>> Lana's modeling. I think I'd still rather procreate with Lana, though. But dammit is Cassie beautiful and dammit is she a good model. I wanna see Lana in an interesting photoshoot idea...maybe somewhere along the way. The Ride and National Anthem videos were pretty and interesting enough, I suppose. (I love the Born to Die and Blue Jeans videos but they are kind of just like two huge sad photo shoots.) (Lol why is there this instinct to compare these two.) Aw, how'd you find that out? I don't even know what there is to criticize. "Queen of pop" is pretty stanny, I guess, but your blog is very eloquent and helpful and clever in its trilogy idea and FUCK maybe Cassie is tha queen. UGH PEOPLE TALKING ON THOSE DEMOS. I was in heaven without Minaj until people talked over the singing. Does Cassie write any of her own stuff? (Not a prelude to "oh she's not an artist", I'm genuinely curious )

Can't keep the queen off your mind I can see how Velvet Night is the most, like, advanced. It's just not quite my style. However, I'm not that discriminating when it comes to music genres (unless Cassie surprises me with some country ) so I can see myself getting into it. I've listened to Supermodel least If I had a top 3, I'd say "Stamina", "Activate", and "King of Hearts", although I think that ones probably just a solid introductory track to her unreleased material. Something about "Stamina", in particular. Honorable mention to "IV" (which you didn't mention at all, so you probably don't like it, but that beat) and "2 the Morning". I suppose I owe "Thirsty" another attentive listen if it comes so highly recommended. What I don't like as much, hmm...I don't know, something in me kinda hates to love or hates to love "The Boys" because I don't understand why it's all over the place but it's a really addictive bop. Not terribly big on "HD", "I'm a Lover", or "Fuck U Silly".
  13. Name another option... And am I gonna have to file it under "Monicker" or...? Also, evil, when you said it would circulate unofficially, did you mean wink wink I'll put a download somewhere else or you're just leaving it up to someone else to record it?

WHOA. I have underestimated Cassie stans for too long. This is getting all the recognition it deserves, mostly because not many people would do this for Cassie but it seems like a really necessary thing. Taking notes on how to get fave recognition. (LOL all my faves hate their unreleased material. Maybe I should make a Lanalysis tumblr If highinthemind is somehow legit and Lana's actually visited my thread, she probably hates the living shit out of me and I just can't stand the thought of that. I'm in 2deep. Here I go, talking about Lana in a totally inappropriate topic. This is what it's like to know me IRL.) Anywhey, CASSIE: I like Dope 'n Diamonds, a lot. I've played it the most. I suppose I haven't paid enough attention, though, because I'm wondering if that's actually a Cassie lyric and what are the odds her and Lana share that? (You should get a Cassie set in the spirit of all this success with this blog, your setlessness is unnerving me.)
  15. Well the shitty journalists aren't going to buy tickets to your tour, so I don't think you have anything to worry about touring here, Lana :brit:
  16. Okay, this one is called My Best Days, I guess the theme is reminiscence. The songs are kind of all over the place. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. 1. This is What Makes Us Girls 2. Children of the Bad Revolution 3. Boarding School 4. The End of the World [Live] 5. For K (Sirens) 6. Carmen [Demo] 7. Pawn Shop Blues 8. My Best Days 9. Blue Velvet 10. Radio 11. Every Man Has His Wish 12. Prom Song (Gone Wrong) 13. Driving in Cars With Boys [Demo] I wanted to end it on a happy note, I guess. I know TIWMUG is a weird opener because it generally makes a great closer, but I think the severity at the end with all the samples going crazy goes nicely into COTBR. And the grooviness of COTBR in turn goes nicely into the grooviness of Boarding School. For K kinda sticks out but I wanted it on there
  17. I suspect I'm going to flip a lot of tables because you have all this info but no audio.
  18. She looks like a first lady or something in that first photo, kinda boring.
