Ikr, and she didn't do a single video for the Fear side of the album, which is clearly the better portion of songs. This era just feels weird to me.

But honestly, I've yet to see a harsh response to this album that would cause that much reaction on her. From what I've seen the response on her socials have been nothing but "yasss kwen!" and whatnot. Even critics that could've gone harder on her didn't. Hell, even the comments on here are not harsh to that point. For me it seems that it's more of something that she can't process about releasing music, which is the part that everytime people say she's underrated and she feels that she's missing something and less about public response.

I need her to stop teasing and give us a release date.

The criticism I've seen so far is not the sound of this album though. If anything I've seen only praise for the production. The criticism is in the songwriting and the forced concept. Theres no concept no matter how hard she tries to explain it, the lyrics are pedestrian to say the least and the melodies are weak. Is this a good pop album? Sure, if someone like Ava Max or Rita Ora released this no one would bat an eyelash. But as a Marina album, this is not it.

I think we'll find out when the tour starts. They are all songs she did with 0PN I think, and they were still working together at least until last year. Hopefully they'll make the album.

I'm pretty sure it's only when songs are being released, otherwise Trust in Me would be registered there. Speaking of which, it is registed on some site with LP2 on the album field. Usually the songs appear on PPL like two or three weeks max before release, so it's coming really soon. My guess is May 3rd, the friday before tour starts.

Bumping just to second this. There's another song (or cover idk) caller Reverside Mix that she did with Seiho and YYIOY for some Japanese brand that was available at some point. Also, if anyone got the original file for Terror would be great, it was available on bandcamp even after the EP release.

It still is a bad album full of uninspired songs that she threw together last minute god knows why. The only song I go back to is Simon Says. The thing about SS that got on my nerves and I don't care how much she tries to justify it is the releasing it single by single. But the material holds up so much that in the end I didn't even care. Had the tragedy of CXII not happened, it would be a perfect follow up to CXI.

If you go through her tweets from before Allie X there is literally no difference from her tweets after she dropped the character though

I feel like wbk that bits and pieces of Offering are all over the song, but nice that she decided to confirm it. Also, about what she said about TMTD is not really justifiable when she only changed the production of 1 song that she released prior and the dissatisfaction was because she stripped it of everything that made it pop and sound different. Anyway, TMTD is perfect the way it is, I much rather her rework Misbelieving, Purge or Alexandra for a future release cause those were not released fully produced.
