This entire thread exemplifies once more to me how natural leaks have gotten in our daily musical practice/listening situation. I just don't understand why people get so upset about all this. It's not like any of us is entitled to hearing the song, regardless of that guy teasing or not.

I really like the video. I think it captures the song's beauty.

Except for the "because I found you" and LA part, this song is so highly autobiographical for me. Everything in the most literal way you could possibly imagine.

I received my A Piano collection today, it's the cardboard box-set, not the exclusive packaging with keys. It's unbelievably exciting to hear all the alternative mixes, unreleased demos and remixes, not to mention the remastered b-sides. The booklet is heavenly. There is so much heart and soul in this box-set and it gracefully outlines Tori's oeuvre. Recently I've been craving new music from her. It's about time that she releases another record with original material on it. Gold Dust was enjoyable, but since it's "simply" a rehash of orchestral songs it got boring very quickly, I think. As much as I hope that she's releasing a new album soon, I doubt it will happen before next year. The Light Princess is set to premier in autumn, I read, and God knows how long she's been working on that one. I wonder if she recorded some of these pieces herself... this might make for a standalone release, wouldn't it? Maybe she's already been working on new songs, it would be a pleasant surprise

That's what got me thinking. Maybe she had the source file in higher quality, as I really can't imagine them redoing the entire video with archive footage...

Has Lana ever said something about the difficulty of tracking back the owner of footage used in her videos? Which quality did she originally export the "Video Games" video with? And redid she/they the video with footage in higher quality? Thanks in advance.
