I don't see how this song, even from what we've heard, sounds empty and cheesy, but what irritates me the most about this comment is exactly where she sounds auto-tuned...

I don't remember if this was a video interview, or if I saw this printed, but I can confirm that she did say that.

Let's revive this thread and talk about the tour. (Who would have guessed?) After seeing the show twice now I have to say that she effortlessly sings all the tracks from Born to Die. She's overly practised with them now. Yet I have to say that most material from Paradise, especially "Cola" and "Gods and Monsters," does cause her some problems. She seems fairly uncertain about how to sing those songs, her voice sounds thinner and I do also believe that both songs are not necessarily the very best live arrangements on the tour. Speaking about arrangements, I did really enjoy "Body Electric" with the additional drums. To me, they add much more life to the song. Something I noticed is that her vocals sound slightly dry, so I would have hoped they used a little more prominent hall effect during the show. Also, the strings often seem to get lost in the (sound) shuffle, which is due to the bad sound at most venues. Monday's show in Berlin probably had the worst sound I've ever heard at a concert. Like I mentioned earlier in another post, she seemed very tired and exhausted during that show, but yet I must say that she delivered the finest live performance of "Ride" I've heard so far. While I was surprisingly disappointed by her vocals in the first part of the show, she got much better with the later performances, probably because she'd been singing those songs for a good two years now over and over again. The visuals shown during the show are very striking, haunting and cinematic. The latter is executed by the occasional inclusion of live broadcast footage on the stage screens. I like that the cameras didn't always point at her, but did focus the musicians during the show, which made for a nice cinematic overview of all onstage performers and musicians. I'd have to see the show once more to give a proper feedback on the visuals, but the backdrop created for "Burning Desire" really got stuck. It's an easy effect, which is very expressive, though: diverse footage of cars on streets and highways, riding like a river, merged with magnified footage of blood being pumped through blood vessels.

That's the exact quote I was referring to in the post before. I really don't mean to harp on about it, but registering on a forum where usually, there is a lot of firsthand information (bits), is pretty smart. Untactful, however, is to take that information and report it somewhere else without giving the original authors proper credit. An overly serious person may dub this 'deceitful,' but I will go with iniquitously smart.

I'm just going to wait for the official release of the actual final version, knowing that it'll be the best anyways. Everything changes, but I will always have faith in Daft Punk and their ability to make great music.

So that website, and user, in particular has a reputation for doing that. Funny, I saw a comment of them stating that they "find all the news." I just have to re-quote this, as it perfectly describes what I find puzzling about this.

I am Jesus. It's just weird that one shares something, and then, within such a short amount of time, it gets spread and reposted on several social networks and takes a life of its own in a way. I'm not pissed off by it; why would I? But it's funny to see what it's like when you post something and then it gets reposted and reposted and reposted. Like those Instagram concert snapshots that are all over Twitter within seconds after they've been shared.

I don't really know how I feel about those photos being all over Tumblr and Twitter within just a few hours...

It's the entire book that I took photos of! You know, actually, I was so thinking of you when I saw that the tour personnel was included, too.
