Cassettes in general are just not a great medium. Vinyl, CDs, and digital files produce a much better sound. The only reason cassettes exist were to be a form of portable music in an era before CDs and digital files

Cassettes are a cute vanity item (or is you have a pre-2000 car) but other than that theres really no point to them

Y'all need to be real here. I love Charli but she is not a good vocalist. Thats why she layers the shit out of her vocals, shouts her choruses, and talked her way though 90% of True Romance. She's very good at writing for herself to compliment this style, but she is by no means a good vocalist.

I have to seriously question Selena Gomez's place as a "singer" if she couldn't even keep up with Charli's vocals. Charlie struggles to hit a note herself, so what does that say about Selena if she couldn't even get to that level

I'm gonna need her to re-record Hide and do it as good as she does it live because the original studio version is shit compared to the arrangement she uses live

I know Trump isn't really something to joke about because it could have very serious consequences for the entire country (especially POC) if he does get elected, but the whole thing seems really reminiscent of that Nicki Minaj line in that Mercy freestyle where she jokingly said she was going to vote for Mitt Romney in 2012 and that she was a republican. It was clearly a joke but people who didn't really like her had a field day with it and used it as a reason to attack her even though it was obvious that she wasn't actually a supporter and that none of her followers were going to go "Oh! I'm gonna vote for Romney now".

Wow, I sort of got a bit of the whole soundscape thing from Drive but I never thought much of it in the album aspect but now it makes perfect sense. That was a really cool interview. I think she's a lot smarter about her music than people give her credit for.
