I really like it! I love how immersive it is, very experimental of her. I do not get the loop concept tho? Like U&I's ening doesn't flow at all with the abrupt beginning of NO HOTEL lol

3 years since she released Dedicated, I don't give a fuck what anyone says, it's still an exquisite record. Side A, Side B, and a lot of the outtakes totally slap! I still get chills while listening to Hold Back So many great tracks

Both tracks have french radio edits from a promo CD, the two others were played on UK Radio (BBC 1 if I remember). I know because I recorded both of them hehe. -
Does she truly appear for like 14 seconds? I'm gonna try and see it tomorrow

UGH what a smash I remember I was studying for like a month in Germany when it came out, being from Latin America I got to experience that run of releases: No Lie - Scared To Be Lonely - TOY - LIYL in Europe, it was so weird hearing Dua on the radio, I spammed my friends with this song for mooonths and waiting for the video so patiently. When I flew back to home Be The One was getting some traction in my country and then New Rules came out and months later she was just an absolute star here, everyone loves her.

Ranking: Fav, Best, Least Fav, Worst (Song + Album)
TheBoss replied to honey dew's topic in Lana Thoughts
ALBUM fav: Honeymoon/NFR! best: NFR! least fav: LFL (I would say COCC, but then I noticed I play like 6 tracks from the whole album lol, both are very messy and turn into a trainwreck in the middle/end) worst: Paradise (it has the best production in all of it's projects tho) -
This constant Charli slander is so unoriginal and uninspired, at it's highest high there's outstanding pop tracks at their lowest lows they're just fun bops/cute ballads, you gays always do the most

It's giving Rose McGowan in Scream

Did Sweat leaked? I'm so lost

I'd understand for people to refer to it as AKA but yeah the long ass name is just so unnecessary and not even accurate

It's Emile's @Auto-Tuned Loon, poor thing he's contractually obligated to appear in most of the tracks he produces/works at Example: See 0:54 for reference -
This one is more for the GP, but basically that she's a fashion icon or very careul with her everyday looks/outfits. Artistically? Sure, like most artists, but I feel like the GP has the glamorous iconic imagery of BTD too locked on their heads, when the good sis has been rocking basic blue jeans and white shirts mostly every single day lol Oh, also that I Talk to Jesus is a great song and one of her best unreleased tracks! Very common misconception

I find the "original concept" term a bit weird since we have close to no official confirmation of an early tracklist, besides COCC, the inclusion of that Elvis cover in BTD, Y&B in Paradise, Yosemite and the 4 Scrapped tracks and "assuming" an overall sound/vibe to the scrapped tracks themselves. Just songs made during "X" album sessions. However Honeymounz also shared a little bit of the early concepts of Paradise and Tropico on twitter: "A lot of people are asking about the Tropico EP and I thought I mentioned it before but I guess I didn’t, I don’t have the complete tracklist but these songs were 100% going to be on that EP: Body Electric, Gods & Monsters, I Talk To Jesus, Money Power Glory, Black Beauty, Bel Air" "As for Paradise, it still would have came out but with just a couple different tracks, those would have probably been Starry Eyed, Young & Beautiful, and maybe Paradise but I’m not sure entirely"
