Reading, films, music, Lana(obvs), writing, fashion, all things vintage
  1. Best: Old Money, Money Power Glory and Shades of Cool Worst: Guns and Roses
  2. Bel Air guys BEL AIRRRRRR it's amazing, I always skipped it before but now I'm obsessed
  3. Right now my favourites are Kill Kill, Scarface, Noir, Hollywood's Dead and Body Electric
  4. This is probably shit but I just watched Scarface and it inspired me to make a playlist, I kinda wanted it to be happy in the beginning like in the film when Tony Montana is living the dream but then closer to the end all the glamour slowly fades away and it just goes downhill. I hope that makes sense I don't have a real name for it yet so I'm just calling it The Man I Love or Yayo (suggestions are welcome) The Man I Love/Yayo 1. Florida Kilos 2. Gangsta Boy 3. National Anthem 4. Hundred Dollar Bill 5. Live or Die 6. Yayo (NKF version) 7. Scarface 8. Million Dollar Man 9. Kill Kill 10. Black Beauty 11. Noir 12. Old Money
  5. I used to think that 'buy me Coca Cola in the middle of the night' in Us Against the World was 'funny Coca Cola in the middle of night' and I also thought 'those bitches before' in Blue Jeans was 'those be justified' I don't know what I was thinking ... And thanks to this thread I can't stop laughing when I listen to Heavy Hitter because someone heard it as 'Heavy Hitler', just imagine Lana singing about that
  6. I don't hate any of her songs but I actually dislike the ones she made for films such as Big Eyes and Young and Beautiful, I don't know why they just never appealed to me
  7. I can't stop listening to Dum Dum and Noir right now, they are simply amazing and Noir is so raw and emotional it really speaks to me
  8. I hear 'I'm a vain, a pro and a nation' anyone else? and also 'come on baby tell me what is tattoed as featured'
  9. I didn't really like the lyrics at first but now I kinda see the 'beauty' in them. Although the chorus is still bothering me. I want Lana to go back to more complicated choruses like in National Anthem etc but I guess we just have to wait and see. And no matter what, I think she is a brilliant lyricist, just look at Old Money and almost all her other songs.
  10. Same here, can't wait for honeymoon!! When do you guys think it will be released? In June maybe?
