Ok I just watched it rn and wow. This was like, the PERFECT amount of manic I needed in this song. Honestly this video is absolutely perfect and I love it so so so much. I swear this still one of her best closing tracks. I feel transported to 2019 it’s crazy. Hope is such a unique yet heart wrenching song. I love it so much

Noir piano ballad version shortened like how TNBAR was honestly though, if she used songs from her Live Fast Die Young era, it would be cool to see that transition to her more adult, current stuff like Blue Bannisters. Imagine the whiplash from her singing about life on the road to wanting children this has the potential to be an album with no direction or an album with a painful, melancholic story

ignoring your first few sentences, I do agree that I prefer the leaked versions of most songs she ends up releasing. The only rework I really enjoy is Black Beauty, but the og is good enough that they’re almost a tie for me. I might even argue that I prefer Methamphetamines over old money

I’m honestly really interested that we’re getting unreleased songs, especially if they’re older (like UV and older). I feel like as she grew older, the subject matter of her songs changed (as expected). it’ll be interesting to see how much the lyrics of the three singles will contrast with her older songs that were written through a younger perspective
