Driving through nature listening to COCC is such a vibe. I drove thru the Santa Cruz mountains listening to the whole album and I love living in CA but I wish we got autumn colors to fully experience it

Stans whose favorite albums are Honeymoon or COCC tend to be the coolest/nicest out of everyone. They’re not my top albums but I can admit their stans are the most pleasant

I like Arcadia but yeah. I keep saying it here, it reminds me of Josh Groban-esque syrupy adult contemporary music from the early 2000s. I love the verses but the chorus loses me

I agree with this so much. Her "boring piano flops" are literally...all different? Not only that but they usually take up such a small percentage of her albums. I'll also never understand people blaming Jack for them either, two of the piano songs on NFR were from Nowels and Jack just added guitar to HIAB. Chemtrails has like one piano song and it's extremely unique in her discography (WD of course). Hardly boring and I wouldn't call it a flop either. Also does Arcadia give anyone like Josh Groban vibes or is that just me. It's very adult contemporary to me. I think it's the vocals and production I'll never forget Lana comparing herself to FKA Twigs, basically saying "why can Twigs dancing on a pole be called art and me being called x or x". I never see the stans that defend her for QFTC address that and it seems off to me. Twigs' pole dancing has been so interwoven in her career, the only time I can recall Lana pole dancing is literally in Tropico, which was mainly known only by fans. Twigs is also a lot less well known than Lana, who was almost a household name at some point, so...
