    Not that I am aware of, besides the global release/time provided. That said the hottest record or whatever is supposed to be Sam Fender last I saw from someone in here. 

     

    I'm like why the global release unless there is an interview or radio debut lol but I haven't seen anything leading me to believe that will happen.

     

    Beats possibly? But still no mentioning lol. Also we haven't had anything with them since that supposed videoed interview with her and Zane lol.

     

    Maybe they are doing it to drop the preorder all at once.

     

    Sorry I went off on tangent lol, side note I still want to know what happened with that Zane interview lol.

    I agree that TNBAR is a more overhaul situation so to speak but alas reworking is a fine line. Everybody has their own things they take away from songs. Whether it is a certain sound, tone, instrument, or vocal delivery/flourish. Point is that one simple tweak can go in either direction and for me personally I am happy with the tracks as they are. Of course it would be interesting to have them freshened up and see how that adds further to the work as a whole but it isn't necessarily something I need or crave.

    This may be an unpopular opinion but I am not pressed about the leaked/unreleased tracks being reworked. I am just excited to see them in the context of the album and what they add to the narrative. It is so exciting honestly. I feel like she has so much emotion and enthusiasm for this record. It is nice to feel that energy and know this is a project that she is super passionate about. I missed that! Either way these specific songs were chosen for a reason. While I have heard each of them multiple times I am still eager to hear them again and see what they add to the album as a whole.

     

    Also while reworking can add to a track it can also take away the magic too. We know this all too well with poor BAR.

    Hmmmm she is always a conundrum lol. I take it as by the time we physically have the record since it will be digital release first, even though we are not supposed to know that lol.

    It is an overall vibe/atmosphere it creates. I love the raw/improvised feel to it. I feel like it is a very divisive track and very much an acquired taste. It just really feels like you can feel her mood. The song just kind of lingers and radiates in the air, it is palpable. I feel like it is some heavy sad girl shit that is easier to relate too if you've dealt with some darker/heavier shit in your life. Although that isn't a necessary requirement lol and doesn't mean you will like it if you have. It is all subjective after all. It just triggers a sense of nostalgia for me that I can't quite describe. I have been where she is in that song. While the feeling is dark and almost suffocating it is also very heady and hypnotizing. I def think it is a track you will either get or not, love or hate lol.

    I am really curious and ready to hear If You Lie Down with Me and Black Bathing Suit. I'm also ready for Violets for Roses, give me all of them lol!

    The fact that If You Lie Down with Me is a Barrie co write and was considered/made during the UV era has me peaked. Love the title too. Black Bathing Suit is such an interesting title and is intriguing. I really loved the leaked lyrics from Violets for Roses too. I feel like it is something very relatable for a lot of people. The whole changing things about yourself to be with someone. Some more so than others but def seems like a vibe too.

    Now that we have heard Dealer I am curious what Ole Jack thought of it lol. I go back to her mentioning it in that interview with him lol. Obviously it didn't fit on Chemtrails lol but I am just curious what that whole conversation was like behind the scenes lol. If it was ever considered or not lol. If he talked her off the ledge or not lol. Just low key shit like that always interests me. We really need a Lana doc.

    Really Dealer is such a fucking mood. I really feel it on a deep level lol. It is chaotic yes but I love her fucking raw vocals and literally being able to feel them. It just kind of washes over you and creates this amazing atmosphere. I have seen it described as a fever dream and loungey by a couple of you guys and I think those are very accurate descriptors. Either way it is an acquired taste. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, then you don't lol. Either way I will have this on fucking loop.

    Dealer is a fucking vibe. I can see how it wouldn't be everyones cup of tea but I am fucking living. Idk def experimental phone sex operator vibes lol. I love Miles/Alex on it too. Lana's part kind of reminds me of Pink Cellphone by Deftones. Just a bit. Idk it has a real atmosphere, def is not playing it safe or bland lol. Sexy future retro jazz sensation lol.

     

    Also love the fucking drums. We need that LSP record one day!

    But yes.. she might have outsold them easily. Idk why her management wants to rush NOW ? When they had no problem delaying COCC.....

    I think it is probably Lana who wants it out now instead of waiting. Honestly I am not anticipating physicals until the end of this year or into early next year. In saying that and knowing she is working on another project(s) she will probably want this out sooner rather than later. She tends to move on very quickly so waiting till then is prob less than ideal for her. I'm sure she is getting a hall pass to drop it digital first since Chemtrails sold so well and the possibility of other project(s) in the pipeline.

    I really don't care about charts or performance myself but it is nice for your fave to get accolades lol.

     

    That said I think she already had a big release with Chemtrails this year so I think that frees things up a bit for her label wise.

     

    I know a lot of people are thinking that the physicals are coming out two weeks later per Boz's info but I take it as they moved up the digital release by two weeks and the physicals will be even longer. Who knows, may not have physicals by years end lol.

     

    I think it will be super interesting to see where the album "charts" with just the physicals alone.

     

    I def don't think we would be having this without the performance of Chemtrails earlier in the year. 

     

    I'm curious if they will try to promote or push the digital only release in some way. Doubt it. Honestly they are still going to bank and chart. It will just be spread and come in more so at the back end.

     

    Either way I am just glad to get the album sooner. I really don't mind waiting for the physicals. The billboard rule is so ridiculous. 

     

    I already have a headache over all the "flop" bs from the people who equate success with charts. Oh well lol! It will be what it will be.

    It is always so beautiful when we can relate music to events in our lives. It creates a really special connection and memory that will forever endure. I love seeing the title track praise. Just want to note BB’s true supremacy lol.  
     

    Cherry Blossom also kind of adds to that special event. 
     

    Very happy we finally have concrete news. So excited for this record. I’m so curious and intrigued. I think it is going to be very special.

    Same lol. I honestly just find myself wondering why some people still stan lol. Like maybe it’s time to turn in the card and just move on lol. But to each their own. We all have our views and opinions but if you don’t like an artists evolution or recent output then why stick around lol.
