    Amazing album! So many little things throughout the production that you discover after each listen. Has been on repeat! I just want to shout out one of my fave tracks, Feeling Myself. Delicious Things has been getting that buzz and hype which is rightly deserved because it is an amazing track but I have really been vibing Feeling Myself so hard!  Either way from start to finish instant classic!

    This album seems super personal so I definitely would say no collabs. I personally don’t mind collabs if they fit with the material/album. I just don’t feel like they would fit with this project.

    Fake. I don't see this album having that many collabs even less do I see her ever collabing with some of these people lol. Also RCS is supposed to be titled something diff.  Granted that could change but to me this track list is a mess lol, not real!

    I can def understand and agree with this point of view. I love the way you put it. I agree BTD is career defining but there is something special about BB to me personally which is the great thing about music. It is always awesome to see how diff people interpret or feel about diff tracks.

     

    Anyways hoping she gives some sort of update soon. I'm still in the mindset we will have the album by September at the latest. It's manageable, I can handle it lol! Just hoping it will not be longer than that lol!

    Yessssssss! I love the behind the scenes stuff too. I know lol, it really was. I just love hearing her talk about the process and intent. Those little vids share such interesting insight. I especially loved the little one when they recorded Change, considering it was done literally on the deadline of the album needing to be turned in. I really hope we get more little moments like that but I really don't expect us to. Again going off topic here but I am ready for a Lana doc.

     

    Back on topic BB is going to be an amazing album, I can fucking feel it. I think you guys are right about it being done and her already working on another album. Nobody can put out music like Lana, she is way too prolific. People talk about her being lazy but truly think about all the projects we have in such a short period of time when some fandoms wait YEARS in between releases. As for BB I think majority will be Gabe/Zach produced then a couple tracks with Mike and maybe one or two with ole Jack. We will see!

    Did I miss the conversation where y'all talked about MD's insta story he posted, the one with Lana in the studio? Either way it has another producer/mixer/someone tagged that wasn't included in the Wildfire Wildflower credits, that I found. Makes me wonder if it is for BB or not? And if it is them like currently in studio or just from the past work they have done so far.

     

    Either way we can def prepare ourselves to be disappointed either June or July or both but that said I def see us getting the album by end of Summer. I'd say September at the latest! I really don't mind waiting if we are getting the quality of the 3 tracks released thus far. It is very exciting!

    Just updated my original reply. No. If it is the person I’m saying then she isn’t in Chemtrails cover. That was Lana’s close friend Jen. I don’t know which one she is though lol. I don’t have the cover memorized.

    It’s been discussed that it might possibly be Jenny Lewis. Jenny Lewis is friends with Nikki Lane. The way Lana says they were writing with Nikki Lane implies Jenny is also an artist which she is. I also get the vibe from the opening lyrics with Jenny asking the questions that she isn’t a very close friend. Otherwise she would already know or have an idea of the story behind the picture and flowers.  I personally think it is Jenny Lewis! Too many things add up for me, plus I love her. To add to your question if it’s the person I’m sayin they weren’t on Chemtrails cover. That was her friend Jen.

    Of course, she stresses the word 'deal' four times, and she did say, last year or in late 2019, that, to paraphrase, she 'did a lot of screaming' on 'Dealer,' and WW does end with that very powerful screeching. I'd more than happy if it is 'Dealer' with a new title. I do think it would have fit very well on COCC, a nice balance to 'WD' and 'Yosemite.' 

    I don’t think so because Zach is not credited at all. Her and Zach originally made dealer so he would have some sort of credit on it.

    Okay even with it being pitched af that flamingo/soft ice cream snippet sounds so fucking good! BB related or not we need it one way or another and ASAf'ngP. Do we really think she would revisit old records on this new one? Could be, to kind of thematically pull her story together but I don't think so. I'm guessing it is probably an outtake or just some demo/never released track.

    Honestly I don’t feel like it’s real but who knows. The beginning of the snippet sounded off but the mid to end sounds nice. She did Dealer with Zach and he also worked on TB so the two could be related. That said though I’m 99% sure the snippet is not legit.  So many “snippets” with any era lol!

     

    Now I’m second guessing. Idk why but I always thought dealer was Zach. Either way def sounds interesting but I try to keep my interest/expectations low when it comes to the unverified snippet game lol.

    I know that the general assumption with the lyric Chucky is making birthday cake is about Chuck and then she references her again as Chicken. I was thinking and wondering if maybe they call Charlie Chucky and if it was him she was referencing. Then she next turns and references Chuck also by her nickname. Just random thought lol. If so it is cute she references them both in the track by their nicknames and in turn it makes me wonder is Chucks nickname chicken because Charlies nickname is Chucky which cld get confusing with Chuck lol. I know it's not that serious but just wondering.
