    Always loved them, I'm envisioning something a tad heavier and more somber though.

    That said country at its core has always been a genre that is synonymous with story telling which obv really suits Lana. I think it would be a great fit! We shall see.

    I think he may not be on title track but on the album in general somewhere. Either that or he is wanting to venture out of his normal genres and try his hand at producing music people really wouldn't expect from him.

    With the mention of him everyone has been hyping up hip hop but I've been over here thinking like maybe he is wanting to do something diff from his main wheelhouse, more experimental per se. So this could really kind of play into that.

    I don’t know why I keep thinking about her mentioning that story way back when, about that woman who lost her mind in her house and fell in the pool lol.  Also she has mentioned writing a Broadway/musical production. I really wouldn’t be surprised if this is somehow a concept album where she really tells a story. 
     

    Honestly my mind is swimming! 
     

    As far as Boz’s reaction being good or bad, he did say hopefully it’s not delayed which to me implies a positive reaction. Like he is looking forward to it being released.  So maybe he enjoys it. 
     

    Either way taste is subjective. 
     

    I’m just super excited to find out what is in store!

    Def can see it being poetry/music hybrid. Maybe it is a fully conceptualized album. Like it’s own storyline almost an audio novel composed of songs and spoken word. Can you imagine omg!

     

    Someone mentioned she could have self produced. I think that would be interesting too. 
     

    If it ends up being a normal album I’d say please be jazz lol! 
     

    But so many possibilities!

    I thought this also! If by some chance there are two diff albums I’d love the idea of having matching covers with a slight variation to distinguish the two diff povs/moods.

    While I would not be opposed to two separate albums I only believe there to be one. 

     

    Lana referred to RCS as a record which she has used interchangeably in the past while she specifically referenced Blue Banisters as an album. Is there the possibility that it is two separate albums, sure. But I think it is more likely RCS is just a track/single on BB. 
     

    As always it is confusing as fuck. Perched for the clarification and actual release of concrete info lol!

     

    Pleaseeeeeee give us details lol!

    Lol I'm curious also. I mean the only time I ever hear abt this person is pre release but I never really got the vibe that our tastes matched up or aligned so I'm not too worried about it, it is subjective after all. I love the two tracks referenced and the snippet already hits so I'm very excited!

    So some thoughts here....

     

    First and foremost I have not stopped listening to the snippet. As others have said "atmospheric" is such a great descriptor. It has that magic to me that I had kind of been missing.

     

    While I love/loved Chemtrails I can tell you that I'm already more excited for this release! It just feels different, it hits more. The air feels thicker around it. I am ready!

     

    The whole who produced debate.... Obv Mike Dean is involved but to what extent--whole album or some songs? Wouldn't be surprised if there was some involvement with title track but then again I also wouldn't be surprised if there is none and his involvement is on other tracks. I would absolutely love if Rick made a reappearance. As I've said before Lana and Rick have this really special connection that I just feel like creates and captures that "it" feeling. I'm expecting more than one producer. Most likely Zach and Mike, so excited for Zach. Would not be surprised if Antonoff has some credits as well but it is obv to me he is not largely involved. As for his involvement with BB title track, I'd say if anything it is just the piano chords. There is def another producers hands on this, it is so much fuller and more atmospheric than the regular Lana/Jack piano ballad.

     

    I have a feeling that RCS and possibly dealer will be some of the more "upbeat" tracks on the album.

     

    Love to hear that the song is a good length! It gives it sufficient time to really build up, hit you, and pull you in!

     

    As far as the unreleased, def think Cherry Blossom is a very likely candidate considering its recent tease but can we imagine Wild One, gosh that would be so amazing! This snippet really fits with Color Blue, ITTJ, FC, and YTH but I just love Wild One so much and think it would fit so well.

     

    Okay done with the lengthy post, very excited for us to get more info! Ready to have all these questions answered, even though the speculation is part of the fun!

    Very excited. Love the aesthetic!

     

    It sounds very somber and heavy. It has a darkness that ripples through it to me. 
     

    I def do not hear Jack here. Even with the piano arrangement the production sounds fuller.  
     

    I’m getting early ultra demos/unreleased vibes. 
     

    I can get the comparisons to COCC to an extent but this already feels and sounds much more full and powerful. 
     

    Just my first thoughts lol!

    I think the official artwork will be revealed with the pre order! 

     

    If this is the legit cover oh well lol, as long as the music is fresh and interesting.

     

    Excited to hear what her and Mike Dean have worked on and to see who else is involved!

With the announcement of “Blue Banisters,” fans are wondering if the album was renamed or if “Rock Candy Sweet” is a single.     I’m thinking Zach probably. Nikki and Lana were hanging with him together and I just feel like he’s been easier for Lana to work with here recently. So, my guess would be him.  
     

    Either that or someone completely different. Maybe somebody Nikki knows, maybe someone more low key, less known.

    I don’t mind explicit songs. I quite like them lol, whenever I’m feeling myself. 
     

    I just want to add to your list though. Burning Desire is perfect and so evocative when it comes to building up that vibe. I feel like it gets slept on but it is one of my faves!

    Oh wow! Thanks. Lol, yeah that is very very different.

     

    Not going to lie it really is kind of pretty. Does slightly remind me of Violet vinyl but even lighter.

     

    I always thought the cream Violet was very beautiful.

     

    That said though that is def not what was advertised/ is suppose to be the norm lol.
