I think it’ll be really interesting to see people’s first time reactions who waited while those of us who have listened have had time to sit with the record.
Also low key waiting/anticipating reading the official reviews, even though I’m prepping myself for some biased bs.

Yeah I think LFL was just a few days early. Norman was a mess due to the FILY/Greatest google music fiasco and then it “leaking” in the quality it did lol.
I’d say though for us to get a HQ leak over a week early for this one was kind of surprising. Yet again I suppose not. Her albums always leak.
It’s adding an interesting dynamic to the thread though lol. ?

Honestly I don’t see White Dress being officially released before the album. It’s very intimate and personal. I think Lana would rather drop the album and have it come out with or after it to kind of take the pressure off of it a bit.

SpoilerI know my last post was white dress related but I just want to say those fucking hums in it kill me, in the best way possible. While the vocals are divisive I think they add so much more to this song and the overall feeling. Lyrics too, gosh. Okay I’m done gushing, for now.

SpoilerThis album is amazing. It is very inspired and progressive. It has a bit of everything and yet it sounds perfectly cohesive. Nobody else can touch Lana, this further proves that. She can do any genre and make it work while many artists would struggle to be so versatile.
Anyways I agree about some fans still sticking around expecting certain things. Lana has grown and changed over her albums, this is way more mature and evolved. If you’re still expecting a “particular” sound from her I think it might be time to turn it in.
