Let The Light In still a classic. When it leaked I couldn’t stop playing it. Still see many many spins post official release. Just flows so well. Is such a vibe. Just really envelops you and lets you get lost in it. So smooth!

Grandfather still a fucking legend and highlight as well. This album is a true return to form. Another defining moment in her catalog. Crazy how she continues to do this so effortlessly.

Fingertips still next level, top tier, highlight. She will always be famous!🥹

That green really is a lot brighter/more neon than I expected. I think was definitely expecting a lighter pastel. Like pistachio almost. Soooo funny. What ended up being my least favorite mock up is now my favorite actual so far, that would be the Target Edition. I absolutely think it is so gorgeous. I’m glad I got the green still but def is not my fave anymore.

I’m definitely getting the vibe vinyl Candy Necklace was an earlier mix and streaming Candy Necklace is what was changed/updated after the physical version had to be submitted.

We knew the pastor interlude was going to raise some eyebrows. Lol. Overall the reviews read well even if the standard 4/5 is lukewarm to what was expected. Honestly she said it herself, she is divisive. I’m not surprised we are getting some mixed reviews. Either way think it is interesting the reviews are coming out SOOOO early and also find it interesting that each review has different tracks listed as highlights with exception of Margaret, seems that is a universal like critic wise. No surprise, they love Jack. It’s a cute song but not a highlight for me personally.

I’m wondering as well. I think maybe they are arriving before album release to try and build hype for release week. Maybe her team planned it this way.

I don’t think he’s shading her just feel like it is a really weird call out/show of support. Just super confusing and kind of missed mark a bit.

Just sitting here thinking about things. I know there were some people who were apprehensive about how much of this album would be about the cop but a lot of it harkens back to JD. I am kind of surprised that I feel like/interpret many of the songs being attributed to or about him. I didn't expect that. I know this album is going to create many discussions and interesting points in the Lanalysis thread.

Agreed, Lana was at a really interesting point in her career for LFL though, that attributed to it being less complete feeling wise. We all grow and change which she obv has but I feel like there was more pressure and eyes on her in regards to pushing for success/mainstream presence. Now she has solidified herself and proven she is a mainstay regardless of traditional success so she is more free and evolved. This has allowed her to really capture what LFL could have been. I find her comment about this album being so easy to make super interesting too. Like let's all take that in for a moment. This is something she regarded as easy and just going with the flow and yet she has made one of the best albums of her career 10+ years in the game. Innate talent, intuition, vision, and success. Love to see it!

I am so ready to see the reviews, sales and gps reception. Not that any of that truly matters bc it doesn't. This will forever be a defining album for her I feel. It is just interesting to see how other people interpret her work. I am perched! Good/bad, we know this is a career highlight and that's that on that.

Yep, nail on head. Idk, there really isn't another artist that I follow that can do that for me. It is something very special. We get a very real feel/connection into her world but at same time relate it back to ours. It's not something many could pull off, very rare. Nowadays especially.
