Am I the only one who likes Cake?
I always loved it. It's so catchy. I don't care that it's different from the rest of the songs, it's addictive.

So she seems to sacrifice her musical carreer for the sake of the entire "Poppy project" (= making generic pop music to mock generic, dumb pop stars)...

This personality is just tragic now. It was nice for just the Youtube videos but wow, what I would do for her to go back to Bubblebath EP lyrics. American Kids is truly the #woke anthem.

her EP is so good + the 2 new songs   waiting for an album

Okay Kali performed new songs, but didn't let anyone record them /: here's to hoping we have a rebel in the crowd 

Chimi is the intro to her concerts, not a song
and Let's Stay Together, Paradise, and Suevamente are covers (although i think someone is mistaken and Paradise is just Lost in Paradise)
the new songs are Teeth in My Neck, Killer, La Diabla, and Tyrant

Bullshit aside, album is full of many bangers. I enjoy new songs New Rules, Begging and IDGAF.
 
However it's just not an enjoyable listen as an album because it ALL feels so singular and separate due to such overexposure of so many songs on the album being released so soon beforehand.
 
I realise the 3 tracks I've listed were the newest additions, but I still can't help but feel like it would have been quite ballsy to put out that album in September 2016 with some amazingly crafted songs and then immediately move along with something even more current and commercial, another album including blow your minwd mwah,  new rules, begging, idgaf etc. They had the songs they just didn't have the confidence in her to release it off the back of no huge hits

early songs like New Love, Garden, Bad Together, Running, Hotter Than Hell, Last Dance, Be The One all have a very distinct sound that fit with the "dark pop" thing she had going on (with the outfits and styling etc..) and would have been a great debut to then expand on
