  1. Wait Pink Convertible tho
  2. The way that One Time is actually an amazing song
  3. I’m glad we got Yosemite in the end but I feel like Dealer would’ve made much more sense in its place. I feel like it would’ve added a bit more edge to the album and meshed better with the grittiness of BUS. Yosemite by contrast is a bit ‘too pretty’ for me and sounds out of place. Also For Free being a closer is a choice but that abrupt ending with a nonexistent outro even moreso
  4. This is heartbreaking. Thank you SOPHIE.
  5. Wow can Justin Raisen be his own one man band because his demos of Guardian and Legends are indie pop masterpieces
  6. Okay but can someone spare the HQ version of IPFY
  7. I think the annotations on Spotify quotes Lana saying that the chorus refers to one person while the verses were written in reference to another guy

    Kali Uchis

Just heard this song and the female vocalist reminds me of Kali so much. This sounds like it could’ve been on Por Vida or a collab track! https://youtu.be/dluPeE6PA-I
  9. I can easily see this being her Issues but I hope she continues this streak. Happy that a WoC/Filipina did that though!
  10. Whew not this era making more of a political statement than Coachella, GBA, WTWWAWKD and Change combined
  11. 100% agree. I think her biggest issue at this point is learning to let go of what the media thinks. Like she’s been on this rodeo for like a decade now, headlines can be misleading by nature and it only garners her more hate when she responds like this sadly.
  12. Just wanted to share this nice cover of NFR that came up on my homepage! I feel like his voice would do well with a lot of Lana songs.
  13. Honestly that wasn’t as bad as I thought. I feel sympathy more than anything after hearing her talk though. It sounded almost cathartic (albeit more on the manic side) hearing her talk about the hate she gets. I’m not trying to defend her about stuff she’s done or posted in the past but really why does the general public expect a person of privilege to understand the plight of the working class and the underprivileged down to the tea. It’s just an unrealistic expectation and I think the conversation should be more centered on why we expect so much from celebrities. It’s obvious Lana isn’t ill intentioned and I feel like her making the effort to show WoC on the album cover is more than enough from someone that could easily just choose to have the album cover be of her and it have it be artistically justified in doing so. And I’m saying this as a person of color The reality is that racism/privilege is much more complex than social media wants it to be and we shouldn’t expect 101% political correctness from people who haven’t been formally educated. Again not saying that this excuses the fact that some of the stuff she said was a little tone deaf but given her life experience as a white, privileged woman, you can’t expect her to be an expert on the topic. All in all, it was definitely an off topic subject for an interview that was supposed to be about the album but she shouldn’t be crucified when she chooses to respond to critics who developed these narratives surrounding her to begin with. Edit: Just listened to the second half of the interview. The way Annie mentioned a connection between Lana describing the rioters as wild and there being a line about her being wild in Chemtrails was kinda serving The Guardian interview but I have mixed feelings about the whole thing.
  14. Wait Bad Man kinda goes off

Endgame and Chance back to back
  16. Do we though? Maybe as a community, we are a bit more vigilant but the police force literally do not give a shit about the countless tourists walking down the streets without masks on.
