Can someone in the UK rip Something Beautiful in 320kbps please? I ripped the audio but I'm in the US and BBC streams outside of the UK are restricted to like 96kbps

I kinda need the final version of To Better Times

Do we know who produced Love Is Religion?
-
Does she fund her own recording sessions? Because I find it hard to believe a record label would keep investing money into something they can't expect to make profit off of anytime soon. And how is she going nearly 7 years without having to put out something per contractual obligations or whatever

I'm not enough of a stan to truly wait for the music so I'll be probably be downloading Babylon.mp3 the second it leaks Sorry GaGa Honestly looking back, it has to be one of the most contrived records in pop music ever. This is coming from an ARTPOP fan but at the same time, it's too iconic for me to actually hate it The visuals, the lyrics, the controversy, ARTPOP Act II.. Plus the mixing pops always pops off everytime I listen to it on headphones. It sounds so industrial and clean. We most certainly have to stan.

Anyone have a link to the Alterlife demo?

Like 98% of the fandom, DLMBM did not quite do it for me since the day it was released and still doesn't. Was trying to think of what exactly I disliked about it and this is what I gathered. I feel like I kinda see what she was going for with DLMBM but I don't think her performance does a good job at concluding the narrative of the album in a convincing way. I think DLMBM is one of the few songs on the album alongside GKIT in which she allows the listener to gain a better understanding of her as a person. It adds a lot more dimension to the stories that are being told. I mean, one could already gather that she wasn't in the best headspace in songs like TBD but once you hear her plead and open up lyrically in DLMBM, it really shows the extent of how fragile she really felt throughout the album. In that way it was a good choice for a cover but sonically, I'm sure y'all already know.. I feel like all the heartbreak and emotion that was displayed throughout the past 13 tracks completely dissipates when she starts singing. For a song that's supposed to be really raw and passionate, she sounds emotionless. Not even in a sad way, just hollow. And the production itself just kind of lacks charm. It sounds like it's just meant to sound nice. Not beautiful, not passionate, not moving, just nice. I feel like a reworked version of The Good Life could've worked better as an album closer. If they made the production similar to the Tony Bennett version with a darker touch, it would fit right in sound-wise with the title track. It would be interesting to see how that would play out. Unlike DLMBM, I feel like TGL would be more of a nice afterthought to the album. Kinda like when you finish a movie and you're just sitting there thinking during the credits. -
I guess this might be kinda creepy but what I like about Lana's music is that it's easy to link the lyrics back to real people/experiences. Then again, nearly all of the people she's dated in the past ten years were public figures so there's that. Still, it makes the music so much more heartfelt and personal as a fan. Let's see what you got this time around Lana!

Omg Chosen Family.. What kinda early 00s R&B bop

That snippet of Babylon alone is reviving my faith in the album

I wouldn't even say I'm a true Charli stan but I still have a few of her unreleased in my music library just because of how much it's talked about in this thread Would you? Would you love me if I lost my cool? In the deep, or the dark days too

Good in Bed's production <3

I guess moving up the release date like Dua was wishful thinking but if they opted to delay it, they should definitely release a promo single sometime soon.. Not to capitalize on the current situation but I feel like releasing the album as a way to cope with the quarantine wouldn’t have been such a shabby business move either. There’s a demand for it and nearly everyone else is hesitant to drop something during this time so there’s so much room for attention and good publicity.

I’ve been thinking of getting a 2ds just for this

This. Love is timeless. It sounds like a song she would release near the end of her career. I always think about how much sentimental value it’s gonna have like 40 years down the line when we’re much older. -
Does anyone have Guns and Gold in 320kbps

Lmao I’m reading some negative reviews on RateYourMusic and it’s so funny seeing people still get so caught up in their preconceived notions about Lana and her image rather than letting the music speak for itself. I swear some of these people will not give her a break until she physically transforms into Joni Mitchell herself

LMAO mirrored heart below holy terrain I have to laugh

Where did Lana say she dropped her laptop with the NFR recordings?

Don’t know if anyone follows Baek Yerin but she just released the studio versions of 0310 and Square and they sound great. 0310 especially sounds like a callback to Oasis/90s rock ballads.
