Minor General Questions that Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
sparklrtrailrheaven replied to Monicker's topic in Lana Thoughts
How much do we know about the No Kung Fu EP, and what is speculated? Are there any receipts backing up its existence? -
Thank the lord that there's a thread for the ultimate queen

Honeymoon - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
sparklrtrailrheaven replied to annedauphine's topic in Post-Release Threads
you make good points! but, adversely, how can we say that Lana's not parodying the stereotypes? I wouldn't put it past her to create an accessible album that's also a slap at the naysayers. LOOK I JUST DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE THAT SHE CAME OUT WITH SOMETHING I DON'T LIKE MUCH SO LET ME HAVE MY THEORIES TO JUSTIFY IT -

Honeymoon - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
sparklrtrailrheaven replied to annedauphine's topic in Post-Release Threads
I'm starting to believe that I've figured out Honeymoon, somewhat. I think (and I might wince at this theory later) that Honeymoon is Lana's critique of fame/the industry, and some of it is her making fun of herself/the stereotypes that surround her. I mean, maybe this is nothing new, but I'd like to put my two cents in. I'll put my Lanalysis™ in the spoiler (warning, this is NOT polished, and is very speculative, very messy, but I need to get these thoughts out): Anyway.... that was a hot mess, but I'd like to hear your thoughts. I'm going to refine this a lot more soon, hopefully, and I hope it isn't just a rehash of what someone else has come up with. Go easy on me and don't let me be misunderstood, fam -
hold it open as a vigil in loving memory of what we have lost videos realized and videos unrealized are perhaps both present in videos future and videos future contained in videos unrealized if all youtube links are eternally present all videos are on private what might have been is a rumor remaining a perpetual possibility only in a world of lananalyis what might have been and what has been point to lana, which is always present cola echoes in the memory down the passage lana did not take towards the door she never opened into video production help

I wanted to find this thread just so I could mention how much I love Smarty-- all of it-- but especially when Lana says, "Baby, if you loved me you would call me your bunny/tell me that I'm just a baby, honey"-- SO CUTE, I CAN'T
