I love this line and how she turns pillow talk into a verb. I also love the instrumental outro. It seems like that outro reminds me of a Beatles song perhaps, but I can't place it. I'd ask Monicker to help, but apparently he shuns them.

I was really glad to see that Lana acknowledged Barrie as her boyfriend publicly for the first time in the ElleUK Twitter Q&A! I guess the nearly 10 days they spent together in LA was an important step in their relationship.
 
However, now that we know that Barrie is her boyfriend makes me wonder about her MTV interview earlier this year when she was asked whether she had a boyfriend, and she said yes, that he was someone involved in music, but not a musician! I think it is again one of those small lies that Lana says, for no real reason.

Just because he's not famous in the US, doesn't mean he's not well-known. I like Lana + Barrie but IDK how they do it w/ the long distance.. looking at them kinda feels like a throw back 2 a couple from the 60s/70's. Also, kind of Lana Sleuthing related but I think "Lucky Ones" is about him b/c its like the only happy song on the album annnnnd I hope they're happy!!!

A LDR Musical Moment I enjoy is the slight-high pitched endings Lana adds to the ends of the words "scarlet" and "starlet" in Off to the Races. Not sure if I worded that correctly, but if you listen to the that part I assume you'll catch my drift. It's a minor moment, but when I have my occasional sing-a-longs to it, I tend to raise the pitch of the two words at the ends.

It is possible that this post was not something she wanted to be out there (not to mention her actual birthday being listed as 1985). Ha, i suppose you're fucked then (not a bad thing to be, right?) It's some type of Chorus effect with the depth and rate turned up really high (and it might also have tremolo?) Auto-Tune makes the vocal vacillate quickly between notes, it's a very distinct effect and sound, nothing else really does that. Call me crazy, but the effect in BoaF sounds nothing like A-T. I also happen to really like it, whereas i have no tolerance for A-T. I think people need to stop calling any vocal effect Auto-Tune. Where's the loon when you need him? Her? It?
