Am I the only one who honestly has lost the desire for XCX3 whatever form it is? I'm perfectly fine with her having a hit with this, releasing another single to follow up and then going back to the mixtape sound. I love all the original XCX3 leaks but those are DEAD. She has said it. I personally don't even think the more recent leaks sound good (White Mercedes, Blame It On Your Love, Shoes, Types), they sound very generic and dated to be quite honest. I'm not here for some sub par commercial pop project just bc she has a moderately successful single All I want is a mixtape in the first half of 2019. I actually quite like her current strategy: big single (ATAP) - mixtape (N1A) - big single (Boys) - mixtape (POP2) - big single (1999) - mixtape (TBA) Also, at this point the next project would be XCX5?? The only thing that would differentiate it's release is a commercial push but it kinda invalidates N1A and POP2 when yall call it XCX3. I get calling it XCX3 back when it was SUPPOSED to be that, but not now. sorry for the vent

tbh as much as I don't believe that March date as being real (late Jan sounds more realistic), I wouldn't mind. If she gives us HTD or another track at the end of November, drops the short film in January, and then album in early March I would be fine. I like long eras and the fact that she seems to be dropping tracks as she works on them, not when they're all already done feels really natural for her

Ultraviolence is amazing until MPG and is super front-loaded. The second half is some of her worst work (MPG-G&R) evoking zero emotion and drab imagery that is alost too cliche for her lyrics. Florida Kilos saves the second half.

Am I the only one who doesn't care for HTD the melody is pretty tired for Lana imo. And the chord progression is pretty generic. Reminds me of TLY, which although I like better, I also felt was very underwhelming and boring at first. However, MAC, VB, and all the other snippets she shared are godly so I am still super excited for NFR nonetheless

album is really good wowwwww, Play Destroy and the title track are my favs. Didn't expect the title track to literally be about being non-binary but it slaps

As the minority who loves LFL, I actually disagree. LFL was messy in terms of cohesion but it a side of Lana we pretty much already saw on BTD and Paradise, personally my fav side of her (the more polished, pop side). NFR already sounds like it's gonna be much more cohesive sonically (the psychedellic guitar, less effects on the vocals). I think u really shouldn't judge so early but I get why u feel this way
