Norman Fucking Rockwell - Pre-Release Thread

Imagine thinking a bridge is what makes a good song!!! Can’t relate! :hooker:

We already established that some brilliant songs do not need them, hence the West Coast discussion!  :hooker:

Me and my friends, we miss rock and roll

*assigns Jackoff as producer of album instead*

Half of the songs are 60-70s rock inspired and the others are Laurel Canyon piano ballads - some piano rock.

You’re doing too much.

it doesn't, but honestly some of lana's songs would be extremely underwhelming without them

IT'S FUCKIN HOT HOT WINTER IN THE CITY

yes i do agree born to die bridges are phenomenal and much prefered than nfr without bridges but i guess that's just how jackoff writes

I guess that's fair. Most songs from Melodrama and Masseduction don't have bridges as well, but if I remember correctly every single song he has done with Taylor have bridges.

In other words: bring Papa Nowells back so I can have my bridges, thank you.

Lmao, sweetie. I’ll quote this when the reviews come out and half of the tracks being psych rock or psych folk are referenced.

Rock and roll =/= rock. Try again

Having a bridge is no requirement for a good song, but Lana usually writes amazing bridges so that will be missed.
