FrozenKookie 94 Posted July 29, 2013 I treat this song as the "secret alas" of the album. It's obviously the different one compared to the others. BTD tracks always give me goosebumps but this one gives me "golden" ones lol. Idk but I see myself singing with falling countless golden petals while listening to this. Color yellow is always scattered on my imagination everytime I play it. And the verses, I feel like she's a dead singing. And when the beat snaps after that mesmerizing refrain jumps onto the chorus.. BANG! Game over.. I'm just floating. I really really love Radio, got no complains, it's like I'm willing to get my ears be deafen everytime lol. 10/10.
Guest Dot Posted July 31, 2013 Thx to the person that revived this thread! If you love Radio as well, you should visit the "ALLNEW - Born to Die Survivor game" in the games section and vote for it.
ilovetati 15,299 Posted February 21, 2015 I still hear "they only love me cause I'm playing on the radio" the second time in each chorus.

HeadBitch 6,862 Posted April 9, 2019 Found a little commentary on the track she did during 2012 that I hadn't seen before and I don't see the info on the wikia either (She did it for 6 songs from BTD) Radio is a song I wrote in the middle of making the record after Fearne Cotton started playing Video Games on Radio 1. I was grateful that the song being on the radio brought some old friends back into my life — especially one person. In the chorus of the song I sing “Now my life is sweet like cinnamon like a f****** dream I’m living in — baby loves me ’cause I’m playing on the radio. Lick me up and take me like a vitamin, ’cause my body’s sweet like sugar venom, oh yeah.” Source - https://www.thesun.co.uk/archives/bizarre/333178/when-i-write-songs-i-stand-under-the-telephone-wires-and-take-in-their-energy/
godsmonster 14,265 Posted April 12, 2019 This song means so much to me now. I've struggled with depression for so long, and was estranged from my father for about 4 years, and now my relationship with him has never been better, and my anti-depressants work so well. My mindset on life has completely changed, and this song just makes me happy, I feel like I have a song on the radio now!

So she was okay with this person wanting to associate with her again simply because of her success?
