i mean i was sucking and fucking when i was 17 idk. i've never really gotten the impression that she was apprehensive about presenting in a sexual way, was it not her decision to go completely nude on her album cover? red lips music video, a bunch of other stuff with terry richardson, various topless photoshoots, multiple sex scenes in lords of chaos, playboy, etc, although the fact that her only songs that are explicitly about sex were all released by the time she was 19 is weird. i'm sure there was a label push which is gross, i guess my point is i can see her sincerely standing behind the sexual aspect of her artistry at the time given how much she has embraced it in later years. i would be curious to hear her retrospective thoughts on it

I don’t mean to become a freesky girl but she did write so many rando songs and only a few were approved by the label. I've also remember her dressing in miniskirts and throwing herself on the floor like a stripper years before NTMT. I have been thinking about this lately because she talks about how the label advised her to dress and act a certain way. I’m starting to think it’s about this particular slut era and not the tumblr fashion girl era.  It’s such a disconnect from her myspace and ntmt persona. at times i honestly don’t blame her for wanting to enjoy her liberty.. though it did f up her career with the wrong choices. If she was told to write many songs and only a portion got approved, I’m thinking she was encouraged to on those undertones. She often mixes up sexuality with horror now and it almost feels like a psychological response to that experience. It’s what she was made out to be and is more familiar with now so she takes advantage of it to express herself.

everyone arguing about who is to blame like someone had a gun to her head and forced her to lie every year multiple times for the last decade about an unfinished album that won't be released. i, 111, as the biggest sky hater, would be the first to support her if she had a mastered album that she delivered to capitol and was actively trying to get a release date. 

 

i hope anyone who is still a #freeskyferreira supporter realises she is actually free and needs to be locked up in a studio basement to finish up this album and releases it. no high budget music videos or lengthy singles campaigns or endless photoshoots, that'll teach her.

Y'all I just woke up and run here to write this. 

Because I saw Masochism was releasing in my dreams, it was a surprise release like Problématique and it was coming out of nowhere. 

 

It had the best leaks + many unheard songs (i really don't know how my brain is able to create unheard/new songs in my dreams, happens with Lorde too and shocks me everytime because I wake up and remember those songs? Wish they were real. How am I even able to make songs? Maybe I should be a producer)

I'll never forget when I dreamt about Don't Forget music video, it was blurry and very blue and very 80's. It was so beautiful and when I woke up I wish it were real. /\

 

Also I'd like to share that I feel so relieved about  all the leaked songs, unfortunately we've never wanted this to be the situation, we wanted them to be released but... Nowadays I feel like I'm in peace to just listen to Sky and enjoy it. No expectations at all. Hopefully one day things will work out for Sky and we would have a BIG WIN.
