I don't know what to say. I already didn't really like Don't Forget (it is a basic Tamaryn song for me) but this one sounds really bad. I don't like the production but the song itself and even Sky's vocals, it is really not for me.

Ferreira is frustratingly evasive — perhaps because she is not clear herself — whether any of the songs she recorded for Masochism can be used on a future record (she owns the publishing rights but would probably need to re-record them herself “and that takes the kind of money only labels have”). Unless she’s playing possum, there at the moment seems no grand plan to cut any full album, just perhaps to keep at the same occasional song-every-few-years pace she’s been on.

She's not a liar, she doesn't know herself. She literally doesn't know if she's lost the material to capitol, or if she can have it back. She's trying to stay with this new release momentum and genuinely give hope because the goal would be to release next year. But she can't just say "100% :)))" to every interviewer when the past decade she's failed every year to release.

part of me thinks this song is a chop but another part of me thinks it’s the best song i’ve ever heard… maybe i’m subconsciously trying to keep a distance incase the momentum crashes and burns like with DF in 2022

I could totally see this album finally come out in 2025. It would kinda make sense. I’ve always seen next year as a possibility. Am I crazy? Probably, but we’ll have to come back to this post in a year’s time to see if I shall eat my words 😂
