Your Girl Lana 547 Posted November 18, 2012 Based on vocal control and power, I'd say Adele. Based on emotion, I love the rawness of Lana's voice more. I agree...You can feel Lana feelings in her voice...
10milestereo 228 Posted November 18, 2012 I am not an Adele fan, but she has a "bigger" voice than Lana. I really don't think they're comparable, though.
Matt 984 Posted November 18, 2012 Lizzy all the way. Adele has a good voice, but it feels so common.
SissyRëyLDRsparkjumprope 63 Posted November 18, 2012 Lizzy all the way. Adele has a good voice, but it feels so common. I agree. Lana has something special about her, but i think Adele does too. But special in a different way. I don't know how to explain it 1 Quote FEET DON'T FAIL ME NOW. TAKE ME TO THE FINISH LINE.

TIARNZUS 4,596 Posted November 18, 2012 I don't understand how you can compare these two. Who's better. Lady Gaga or Susan Boyle?
SissyRëyLDRsparkjumprope 63 Posted November 19, 2012 I don't understand how you can compare these two. Who's better. Lady Gaga or Susan Boyle? They both have strong, emotional music, and a lot of their music brings nostalgia along with it. Like video games- very retro. 0 Quote FEET DON'T FAIL ME NOW. TAKE ME TO THE FINISH LINE. TrailerParkDarling 5,697 Posted November 19, 2012 Lana is a self professed "studio singer" and Adele has way more range, although I don't like how heavy (no, this is not a lame fat joke) her voice is 1 Quote *** People call me crazy but I'm in demand ***

PrettyBaby 2,220 Posted November 19, 2012 How much time did Lana stay at Kent? And did she ever formerly studied metaphysics? I was thinking about start a thread about her studies Edit: Oh wait what happened with the title? It looks from her yearbook like she was at Kent boarding school for three years or so. Then she studied metaphysics at Fordham University. Anyone know if she graduated?

Guest Maru the Cat Posted November 19, 2012 Lana claims to have graduated by correspondence -- apparently her professors were v. understanding of her pursuing her career as a singer. I'm just thinking about all the hoops you'd have to jump through at my university to complete in-class courses via correspondence and it's making my head spin... and it kinda makes me inclined not to believe her, but I don't know the protocol/professors/deans at Fordham. It could be true. :shrugs: If she graduated, she has a philosophy degree. Her focus, or major research paper may have been focused in metaphysics if she did graduate, although the requirements for a philosophy degree at Fordham don't mention a major research paper or having a particular focus. I'm inclined to say metaphysics was her favourite out of the branches/doctrines/movements in philosophy in her studies, but she didn't have any formal, intense study in it. Then again, what do I know? I personally don't think she graduated...
