i definitely prefer princess of power. princess of pop is a little cliche and cheesy imo, but ive never really been one to judge or pay attention to album names unless it serves major significance to the project

Wait it's not Princess Of Pop, it's Princess Of Power  Where the fuck did I take it, my brain is fried from that The Right Person Will Stay pre-release thread I guess.

 

Still, I find it basic, it's not bad obviously but like anyone could have named that album. Like Love And Fear, anyone could have named that. Although, I don't wanna really complain that much because music will be music.

 

The Family Jewels, Electra Heart, Froot and ADIAML have such a nice ring to it though.

Honestly, even though I fell in love with Marina for her lyricism, I've accepted the fact this album will not be as serious and deep as her previous.

Which I'm okay with, because as somebody said: funny music doesn't mean bad music, but I am aware her old lyricism left such an impact in us that's gonna be missed.

Despite that, with all we've got so far, it seems this album and era is her quirkiest one after The Family Jewels, which excites me a lot as I thought ADIAML was the most TFJ she'd get after all these years. Not trying to hold on her old albums, but TFJ is my favorite.

She's funny, she's unserious, she's puerile and silly, and I'm here for that.
