Friends, please advise. Loved Marina during the Electra Heart period, am obsessed with some Froot songs, saw her live at a festival in 2015, but am not familiar with any of her recent stuff. Wasn't blown away by Handmade Heaven and haven't really checked in since then. 

 

But I still heavily enjoy her as a person and love her social media presence a lot. Drop some recommendations pretty please

you can probably skip love+fear tbh. ancient dreams is a fun and welcome step towards her old stuff, but still falls behind her earlier work. i would give the ancient dreams singles a listen to see if you like the vibe because they fit well within the album

hmmm honestly.. not a whole lot

 

The most classically Marina songs that emulate her first three albums the most would probably be: Ancient Dreams In a Modern Land (song), Venus Fly Trap, I Love You But I Love Me More, Emotional Machine 

 

Too Afraid, Soft To Be Strong, & Flowers are decent too, but I wouldn’t say any of them are really special in any way lol
