it might be, no? If they did a digital first release, the other possible option, it would split her numbers up. A leak doesn’t count for the charts, but I feel like most ppl who listen to a leak are within her fan base, so not only is it small, most will switch to official platforms come launch day. So in terms of numbers (and no idc about charts, but better numbers means her label will have more reason to invest in a tour and future releases), it is maybe the better strategy?

him ranking fishtail, peppers and kintsugi so low is actually so exciting cause these songs will be so good I can feel it in my hole

 

so this means the whole album will be so great and people’s rankings will be all very different like with NFR
