not putting her on a pedestal  i have no problem with admitting that she's done some questionable things, and hasn't always been perfect, i just don't want to automatically label her a bad person, or someone who's siding with and protecting someone committing domestic violence, when we don't know every detail of what's going on regarding people we don't know

 

and, regardless, somebody on her team doing something bad is NOT THE SAME as her, HERSELF, doing something bad, i do agree she's responsible for her team, to an extent, but i do not believe she directed her team to ignore particular people if they speak out on somebody they hired doing something bad, honestly, i have no idea as to why her team would be ignoring and silencing someone who's just speaking out about something they're concern about, and doesn't look good on their part, but i'm not going to just point fingers at lana for it, and like @jaesana said, maybe certain people have legal limitations as to what they can do or say

Also, TaP deleting comments doesn’t mean they’re not doing something about it BTS or protecting him. They’re protecting Lana, the conversation this would cause for an artist with Lana’s media history could be massively impacting for her career and mental health.

I do. And I used to defend her actions with Timothy. And regardless of that, I grew up and realized I shouldn't have done that and that are can be critiqued despite my feelings. I don't get bringing her up.

 

Some people need to do the same with Lana

 

Lana didn't know what happened but her staff do. And her staff are responsible to Lana. Lana doesn't bear all the blame but I do think she can be held responsible in part for the actions of her team.

It's about her security guard who has a DV past. 

 

To be honest, those conversations about responsibility and firing him and pointing fingers lead us nowhere.

 

The girl should contact his boss aka the third party. Lana's team can't fire him because he's not from their company. They can only tell the third party but we don't know what's happening behind the scenes.

 

I don't know why they deleted the comments but I have noticed that the TAP team accounts usually delete comments in any kind of topic. Probably maybe to avoid spam and media-image damage, who knows.

 

Her brother Charlie can't really do nothing about that either, he maybe didn't know all the details who's her security guard ect when he read the DMs. We don't know really thoroughly Lana's relationship with that security guy as well besides the dog adoption and the clothes donation.

 

Things are not as black and white, sadly. We can only hope that maybe there is a process of firing happening right now and maybe a new guard will be hired by the time she goes touring again in April for Stagecoach.

 

Of course, someone who has been violent to their partner and who was issued a restraining order should not work at this kind of place. I really hope that the girl is doing better now, sending lots of love to her.

So basically some guy has a job: provides services for customers of customers of the company he works for. One of them randomly being Mrs. Lana Del Rey

He is accused of being an abuser: harsh punishment deserved if true

Everyone on her echoing the same sentiment that the dogs are “too much work” when she has an entire team who can care for them, or family members. Making it seem like Lana went away on a 100 date tour for ages Giving them away to your random ass bodyguard IS weird

She has a restraining order but good job letting your fandom of Lana override solidarity with DV survivors.

the way this wouldn’t even be a story. domestic violence is unfortunately so common. the only way it would make news is if the girl was held up in a basement or something

DV survivors deserve solidarity and justice, not the right to harrass random people who have nothing to do with it
+ How exactly does any of this help her?? Such cases settle in court for a good reason
