I don’t know what kind of witchcraft she did to get Universal to buy her out of her previous contract,

But generally if A you don’t take a huge sign on bonus & B if you’re usually the Main songwriter. 
Lana most likely gets most of her cash from the residuals,

That’s not saying she doesn’t receive bonuses from the label from time to time.

Plus, you can’t just fire someone bc of online claims, that’s grounds for wrongful termination—I hope she’s at least filed a police report.

 

And if she has filed a police report, then really, it can’t be discussed publicly—he’ll be investigated pending the police, and put on leave until a decision is made. From what I understand (albeit not an expert). 

 

I really don't want to reignite the flame of this topic, just want to say that this is the most adult post in this entire thread lmao I really hope some of you guys are under 18 or something, bc firing someone is not as simple as it is in movies and cartoons and shit (like, the boss just yells ''you're fired'' and the employee leaves with their stuff in a box)

 

I was an intern in a public government company and there was a similar case. Someone made an anonymous report that this guywas involved in sketchy stuff (not DV, but it was a crime nonetheless). But he had worked as a government employee for over 10 years or so, and, in Brazil, you can't just fire someone who's worked as a civil server for over ~3 years. There needs to be a very good reason to do so and you have to go to court. The first thing the company did was investigate the anonymous report, bc they couldn't just take it at face value. Then all the other bureaucratic procedures followed.

 

It really isn't the same thing and idk how USA laws work thank God, BUT, I understand that if the police is involved, ppl just can't go yap about it on Twitter. Even the victim seems to have quieted down. That probably indicates that she went to the police and has a lawsuit going on now.

In the USA, police don't care about DV. which tracks, since police officers are the highest perpetrators of it

that is very unfortunate. My country has anti DV laws, which unfortunately were conquered after a very serious case of DV (search Maria da Penha if you want to know more about it). I seriously hope one day all countries will take it seriously.

I'm not familiar with this singer, but he's working with Rick Nowels and wanted Lana to duet with him on his new song.  Apparently Lana either said no or ignored him. These are just a couple of the posts. He was pretty desperate lol

She prob said no after seeing him spell her name wrong multiple times

Honestly, that's so cute and sweet!  This really seems to be his top bucket list dream and it's already huge that he's working with Rick Nowels and I saw a video which he captioned "I'm working with Lana Del Rey's producer!"

 

Not gonna lie, when I heard his song Daylight on music channels and radios in 2023 and while I loved his voice and the melancholic sound of the song & the piano, I instantly knew that this would be one of these songs Lana would enjoy listening to on radios (she has sometimes showed Instagram stories of songs she loves that has played on her car radios):

 

So yeah, Lana should bring him to Stagecoach/Hinterland or the IE/UK stadium shows as a guest or opener!
