What's everyone's realistic release month? Back in the summer, I thought there was a chance for a February / March 2025 release but that has now shifted to July / August.

March

The earliest I expect would be summer next year, but I think autumn 2025  or spring 2026 is more realistic :heidi:

I gonna stay optimistic and say August 29th or September 5th 2025:wat:

"Swan Song. It’s on my album Honeymoon. It’s the antithesis of hopefulness. It’s about trying to find beauty in giving up. If I had my way, I would continue to persist in all areas of my life, but it can be quite challenging because I can be too trusting too soon."

The way she trapped herself with that country music nonsense when she's at her peak and now we're probably looking at her longest gap between album releases...

If something doesn't work out the way you want and you don't know where to head next, it's best to stop doing it at all and start over with a new idea.

She sucked the magic out of Chemtrails entirely apart from like four tracks:aubrey:

Chemtrails would have sounded so cool as a more 70s psychedelic folk inspired album, it’s a true shame. Imagine if it was sonically similar to George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass album, the religious imagery could have been truly elevated by music like this. Still, I can’t get over those vocals on Yosemite.

That being said I listen to chemtrails somewhat frequently, in the right mood, the stripped back vibe works. Sometimes it feels it’s missing something.

i think we can all agree that lasso is nowhere near, but i would really appreciate it if lana would release another cover in december, just like she did last year with ‚Take Me Home, Country Roads‘

Some Songs i would love her see cover:

Home: Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros

Wicked Game: Chris Isaak

These Days: Nico

Am I the only one who wants ZERO covers on this record?

Tbh, the only covers she's done that I love are Doin' Time, Once Upon a Dream, and Goodnight Kiss at the BBC lounge. I'm ok with  Home for Christmas and Blue Velvet too.

This is just glorious:

But The Other Woman, For Free, Blue Skies, Season of the Witch, and particularly Summertime (Gershwin), Country Roads, and Don't Let Me be Misunderstood are filler tracks personified. Sorry to the fans of these songs.

Mais The Other Woman, For Free, Blue Skies, Season of the Witch et surtout Summertime (Gershwin), Country Roads et Don't Let Me be Misunderstood sont des morceaux de remplissage incarnés. Désolé pour les fans de ces chansons.
