They really can't accept the album is mid...

look all i'm gonna say is i know someone who has worked on lana's tours for a long time (at least since la to the moon i'm pretty sure?) and from everything i know she's a pleasure to work with and super kind to her employees... i also know a lot of people in the festival/concert industry are shady, flakey, and can just be an all around pain so it sounds like this guy was probably just an asshole, especially considering her close team (ben, ed, byron, blake, sheridan. etienne, etc.) have been with her FOREVER with no complaints. 

i have never read anything worse in my life, they really be making anyone mods these days

She did the interview because The Sunday Times named Ocean Blvd as the best album of 2023. I appreciate when she does interviews not just for promo, but because of how much her work is respected

The lead single is called Overcompensate and comes out today at 1 PM EST.
 
Additionally, the new album is called Clancy and comes out May 17th.

She already talked about this in her Instagram video from Nov 10th when she said she only just found out you have to submit your own songs, “I got to perform a few songs online for everybody”. I took it as being part of the Grammys submission process?

I think she will perform the title track at Coachella. She made the West Coast live debut there 10 years ago, so it's a full circle moment.

I feel like country music is the only genre that Lana can't pull off yet. She's done pop, alternative and jazz, but they all sound unique and special to her, you can tell it's Lana, whereas in country music she tries to follow the most basic rules and doesn't try to make it her own (songs like Breaking Up Slowly are proof of that). If she continues this tendency, I can safely say I'm not excited
