IanadeIrey 62,018 Posted July 6 This song sounded very girl-group, 60s-esque to me and upon further research, I realized that The Shangri-Las had a song titled “Past, Present & Future”. Lana revealed in 2019 that some of her early work with Jack before they settled on a direction for NFR was similar to the LFL title track and she referred to it as “hip-hop girl-group” - so I wonder if this song was borne out of those early 2018 sessions and was revisited/reworked more recently for Lasso. 7 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I can confirm that I have identified the lyrics to the fenway intro. There isn't... 1. Any mention of "lasso" anywhere 2. Nor any foreign language lyrics 3.
