Mileena 2,691 Posted March 20, 2013 I can't believe no one made this topic already whoa. Is there anybody else who is a massive fan of The Sims franchise? It's my favourite game ever, I was pretty much raised on it. I have the complete collection of The Sims 1 (yes, I still play The Sims 1...), most of the expansion packs of The Sims 2 and a couple of packs for The Sims 3. Personally, I'm not big on The Sims 3, it was a nice attempt and all, but the Sims look awful and just so robotic and they all look the same - even with CC. I love The Sims 2, I think that the whole storyline is brilliant and I love all of the 3 neighbourhoods too, they all have so much charm to them, I especially love Veronaville because it's Shakespearean inspired. But unfortunately my computer can't play The Sims 2 anymore which sucks so I'm going to buy a new computer for it. I still play The Sims 1, it's maybe my favourite, the humour in it is brilliant and it's so much fun with Makin' Magic. I've got tonnes of hacks and CC for it too so it makes the game so much more fun and interesting to play. I've even made some Lana heads(:. My favourite piece of CC for The Sims 1 is probably the Magic Mirror or the Magic Toadstool - they really make the game awesome. Anyway, is anybody else a hardcore Sims fan like me?
PrettyBaby 2,220 Posted March 20, 2013 I was addicted to The Sims 1 for years. I'm serious. You have no idea. I can't even have it installed on my computer or I will be sucked into a CC vortex from which I will be unable to emerge for days at a time. :sigh: Wait, you have Lana heads? Share please?
DUKE 2,530 Posted March 20, 2013 Actually, I don't think I got any further than creating families and building houses. For me it was always the following: buy the smallest property available, motherload, here. we. go. I might have played with one or two families once in a while, but I always ended up killing them. You know, the classic: put them in the pool, take the ladder away, ignore the warning and let them die... Sometimes my families got killed by accident when the kitchen caught fire or something.
TIARNZUS 4,596 Posted March 20, 2013 The Sims 1 was made before EA took over... It all went downhill from there.

I know right haha! I'm addicted to custom content, my aunt used to be a big CC maker for The Sims 2, she made loads of Buffy and Angel sims and they're still up on the exchange I believe. Is there a way you can upload The Sims 1 content now?

Oh screw that, I just purchase this hacked statue thing and I get 100,000 simoleons at a time (or magic coins, depending what mood I'm in) and then I purchase that big house in Sim Lane near the Goths in the first neighbourhood. As for killing, I have an electronic chamber which you can do anything with and I just plonk my Sim in there select 'kill' and boom. I also have these poison perfume bottles for my sims to use when I get bored of them I'm evil.

Would you be willing to post bitmaps here? They're bound to be more flattering than !!!

PinUpCartoonBaby 1,017 Posted March 20, 2013 Whoa! Fans of Lana and The Sims?! Am I in heaven? These two are my greatest passions and I always thought I'm the only one who likes both of them. Glad to hear I'm not. I played all Sims games, really every single Expansion Pack that ever existed (exept University Live for S3). At the moment I'm only playing Sims 3 but it doesn't always work properly...EA should really fix this. I actually do not play a lot with families and so on but I just create Sims and I also made some poses (don't know if any of you use poses for the Sims because they're quite unnecessary). It's a bit awkward but I even have a Sims 3 blog where I posted some of my poorly Lana influenced creations and others.
Jord 3,481 Posted March 20, 2013 I want to live in this thread forever with all of you. Yes, I am a huge fan too! I have all the expansion packs for The Sims 1, 2 and 3 and I have played this game for about 10 years now. I still remember the very first time I played The Sims 2. I entered the paradise that is Pleasantview and then read the story of all the families and then checked the Goth family which is just so infamous and perfect. My favorite families ever are on The Sims 2 too. Caliente and Goth (from this version of the game) and Pleasant slay lives. The Sims 2 > The Sims 1 > The Sims 3. It's not that the third game is bad or anything, but in terms of being special to me, I'd rate them in this order. I stan so hard. I check fan-sites everyday. And am I the only one who say that there was a Sims 4 Easter Egg on University Life? Some sites posted it!
PinUpGaloreLana 1,399 Posted March 20, 2013 I was addicted to Sims 2 for ages. I used to play the sims 1 too. But on sims 2 i had Nightlife, University and Celebration stuff. I was working down a family tree so i could look back and be like: "Wow, ive made a long family line haha." I got really far too! And then my laptop broke. Anyone know where i can get Lana faces for Sims 2? I might start again lol

Some sites posted it! i totally agree with your order of the games, in my opinion i think that EA spent too much attention to detail on the sims 3 and seemed to of let the storyline down. my favourite familes on 2 were the calientes (nina omg for a sim wow) and the capps. and everything about strangetown is just amazing! i remember when my aunt first introduced me to the sims 2, i bunked off school the next day so i could play it.
