COLACNT 5,180 Posted November 2, 2013 artpop was my favorite from the iTunes performance, but i feel so underwhelmed by the studio production for some reason. it almost sounds identical, but pared down and less ~powerful? anyway, i only listened to born this way like once or twice and forgot about it from that point after but i've already listened to this album like 6 times lmao i guess i'm like back in love (srry lana)
National Anthem 9,904 Posted November 2, 2013 OMG I got home from taking the 5 hour SAT and this was such a nice surprise I've only listened once, but Gypsy is the standout for me. Every song was good. It's here guys, I can't even believe it, I think I'm in shock. I still remember starting to join forums a couple years ago when Red Lipstick was rumored to be the first single!

drewby 9,246 Posted November 2, 2013 Fans are complaining that the studio versions don't sound like the iTunes Festival performance...like she said they were different I prefer all the studios over the performances, especially Sexxx Dreams because her voice doesn't sound offkey this time. The one thing I like more from the performance is the placement of "heal me, I'm addicted to love" in MANiCURE. Not really a fan of the "can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it"

Rebel 3,177 Posted November 2, 2013 That was insane, we've waited so long for it. I feel like the experience would be better we heard at least more than half of the album together at once, not with all the snippets and performances she's been doing. I think it takes away from the album, but it's still a really, really, really good album. I can't really process my thoughts yet because I just finished listening to the album in full, and here's my personal rating for it. I can't get into DWUW ever since it came out, I tried and I failed :/ And Jewels N' Drugs is a mess, it has to be said. Sitar 22,213 Posted November 2, 2013 I think Donatella is a clear highlight on the album imo I really really like it It's not basic Zedd Totally. Lord Zedd I mean, let's discuss GUY. That song fucking shits I can't take it. Pre-chorus into chorus is really unexpectedly good even though we already heard the snippet. Like the extra line blasts me off to a new dimension

Uhhhh she better medley that shit with Do What U Want I know she's premiering a new song in every country and that's what she did with Venus in the UK But I love Dope, sis finally wrote a real ballad and didn't torture the final version with overproduction YAAAAAAS 10/10 for sure. Zedd literally slayed me on this album. The way the chorus on the song kind of songs warped or something just kills meee I know I wish he were featured way more Except I don't because I love it as is?
