Embach 45,089 Posted November 18 Happy 10th Birthday to these two masterpieces No Church On Sunday and Digital Dream Girl which happen to be one of my all time favorite songs, with the first one belonging to my top 10 all time favorites. I felt my life changed after listening to these songs for the first time. These timeless ethereal psychedelic and/or electronic sounding songs haven't aged at all, they sound like they could have been made in 2024, 1984 or 2004. Been on repeat all day, these songs are also my most listened songs on Spotify. No Church On Sunday definitely describes my personal music style and sound which I also found thanks to Lana, the comparsions between this song and Heroin. This music video is also really dope - very artistic, very surreal. Digital Dream Girl is the best synth pop B-Side reelased in 2014, it really feels eerie and sweet at the same time. Kind of predicted the 2020s where the digital communication is part of society's everyday's life and also the resurgence of 1980s synth pop music. The Great Cybernetic Depression is one of the best concept albums of the 21st century and I'd consider it a long lost sister to Lust For Life's original concept.

williamprb 2,007 Posted November 19 i’ve been listening to “the fear” b-sides a lot lately, kabul shit is basically a darker more intense and serious straight to the point version of the fear but f** hag is slightly out of place but still an upbeat critique of how gay people are used as accessories in a sarcastic tone. i deffo think yall should listen to kabul shit tho cuz it’s one of my favs from her 1 Quote young, wild, free but most of all fucking crazy
