"Purple drank" aka "sizzurp" is made from codeine cough syrup and fruit punch or probably any other soft drink available. Abuse of this concoction is what put Lil Wayne in the hospital and ended up forcing number one overall draft pick Jamarcus Russel out of the NFL.
