Anybody watched "The Medium"?

I decided to finally watch The Ring after years of thinking it was going to be bad and that people were probably overrating and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was (I was expecting for it to have the same ambiance as its opening scene for the whole movie). Especially with the storyline / twists. Not as horrifying as people make it seem, but still one of my new favorite of the genre!

I had the exact opposite experience last week  I love the American remakes of The Grudge and The Grudge 2 so I was totally expecting The Ring to be like that. It’s definitely much smarter than The Grudge but I wanted more creepy visuals and “teen scream” moments.

Yeah, it's definetly not as creepy as people make it out to be, but yeah I'll try to also watch The Grudge movies soon!

I agree with most of what this reviewer said. Halloween Kills was totally BRUTAL but I think it was one of the most effective horror movies I’ve seen in a while. Has anyone else seen it yet?

Malignant is my favorite movie of the year so far! It’s quite literally horror perfection, the gore was amazing and it was so incredibly camp. 
 

I’ll add Seance to my watchlist as well!

okay so i forgot to share my opinions on here about halloween kills! disclaimer: dont read if you haven’t seen it 

 

i absolutely LOVED kills. it was so bloody, gruesome, and pretty terrifying. michael was such a terrifying villain, the name lives up to the content. it was honestly one of my favorite in the franchise… probably top 3

If anyone is interested I just finished a Thai-South Korean documentary style film called “The Medium”. it’s from this year and was a total slow burn but so worth it, my lord there were so many unsettling things happening in this film. 
 

Would totally recommend it and would love to hear people’s thoughts about it
