I do like her 1965/hypnotic mashup, but I would have loved to hear I donβt know how to end since I donβt really think she has played that one live yet. I love folk music so Iβm really excited about the Chaparelle project, but I hope she drops an ep/album of just her voice to go along with it. It makes me so sad how little solo music we have from her. I wish we wouldβve gotten 3 new songs on Kicker instead of the EP tracks being included, we already had half of Sunday in Heaven by the time it was released if you count the IDKHTE demo. It would be so great if she released a double album kind of like Love + Fear. She has both the vocal & writing ability to do so, it really sucks that the Rodrigo girl is experiencing so much success under the same dude who produced alot of the shelved follow up to Kicker when Zella is 100000x more talented. I hope she leaks some songs on Dbree one day along with the High music video.Β Itβs been so long, I canβt believe the ZD ep turns 10 in a few months!! Personally, it is hard for me to choose my favorite ZD songs because she is one of those artists for me that i love just about everything she puts out. Kicker is more gypsy/boho vibes imo, but Sunday in Heaven has some fun dance and disco vibes..can't go wrong with any!
