The PERFECT Lana Del Rey Concert

Recommended Posts

If you had to create an ideal setlist with Lana's very BEST live performances, what would it be? Feel free to mix years, venues, and anything else-- I haven't watched many of Lana's live performances (aside from the Lizzy years), so I want to see what you guys come up with!

Everything about this year's tour has been amazing so far, except for a few unnecessary songs like Carmen. The last show in California and the one in Greece were mind-blowing (especially the latter). If only the setlist had more UV (West Coast!!!) and HM (The Blackest Day, Music to Watch Boys To), that would be my "perfect" Lana show. She's singing amazingly, she looks much more confident and ~energetic~ now and the band is incredible. Her light show is always on point too.

No more Cruel World, Cola, Blue Jeans and Born to Die. Sad Girl should be added PLEEEEASE and I would love to hear Black Beauty and Guns and Roses live, ugh. From Honeymoon, definitely Art Deco, Religion and Salvatore.

Also MTWBT. I can not understand why she hasn't played that one.

My setlist would have to be

1. Albedo 0.39 (Monologue)/Honeymoon

2. The Blackest Day

3. Shades of Cool

4. Salvatore (Full)

5. High By the Beach

6. Freak/ (Outro/Break) Clair De Lune (I really enjoyed when they played clair de lune during her shows when she went to meet fans  :flutter:)

7. Serial Killer

8. West Coast

9. Brooklyn Baby

10. Music To Watch Boys To

11. Lolita

12. Gods And Monsters

14. Florida Kilos

13. Fucked My Way Up To the Top

14. (Finale) Off to the Races

(Florida Kilos Is misplaced but I feel weird putting it after Freak because having two songs say "Come to ___" is weird to me, and I really where Lolita is  :toofunny:)

Also get rid of those awful backup dancers. Lana is super good when she is free and doesn't have to do all these dances during her songs. I'm also really missing the slut drop! I also miss her cute Endless Summer Tour dresses.

My ideal setlist:

1) Music to Watch Boys to (pitch black, with a spotlight on Blake and they add a guitar intro for him. and then lana finally sings "i like you a lot...")

2) Born to Die

3) National Anthem

4) Freak

-- transition --

6) Art Deco

7) West Coast

8) Blue Jeans

9) American

10) Ride

11) Honeymoon

12) Ultraviolence

13) Shades of Cool

14) Pretty When You Cry

15) Young & Beautiful

16) Video Games

17) Heart Shaped Box (Nirvana Cover)

18) Religion

19) High By the Beach

That would honestly be my dream setlist. ive thought about this wayyyy too much, if you couldnt tell, lmao  :defeated:

Also, I didnt mind the backup dancers if they were there for a few songs, but they were there for the whole show and it didnt work for me. Additionally, NO MORE FESTIVALS. it was a terrible idea. if she did indoor venues again, i would die

My ideal concert;

A smaller venue like she used to do, how stunning were the likes of the nouveau casino show?

Surprise new covers

New song premiere

Older song she never performed live yet, other than those 3 I don't mind the content of the set list

Her fans controlled themselves and not screamed like banshees so I could hear her properly

Professionally recorded so I could enjoy them over and over again

Oh, and her dressed up like Priscilla again because it was fucking adorable

Her cover of Nirvana's "Heart shaped box" at her Paradise tour 2013 was awesome too - I like it when she's sounding more rock:

Nirvana is now negatively attached to Halsey  :rip: . And a known song from Nirvana is always a biT try hard.

My dream setlist would leave out: Cruel World, Cola, Serial Killer, Carmen and Born To Die.

I still think I'm the only one who loves huge outdoor venues and festivals :toofunny:

Me too. Plus, I think if you want your fave to keep on going for a long time in times when sales are dead, big venues are great. And she ain't a newcomer to play small venues anymore. Making music is an expensive thing to do.
