I think maybe the vinyl won't have the intros/outros that aren't really part of the song (Moon Cycle ending, BOTL last minute..) but I hope the interludes on Faerie Soiree and Nymphology are included

This might be the worst album I’ve heard so far this year. Genuinely horrendously executed. Not a single good melody or production moment. Cheap all around. She really fell off after Crybaby, I used to lowkey stan.

I think the album is great though, a step in the right direction after K-12 and the end of the Cry Baby storyline (?)

eh I'm lowkey hoping that along Cry Baby she drops the movies too... she should do smth less grand?? like a short film or connecting music videos like she did for her first album 

at least then we'll know she's taking a break she needs and not delaying stuff cuz she's overachieving.. K-12 while good could've been better if she did the same strategy as she did for Cry Baby because obviously she had to cut a lot of shit thanks to budget limitations and that kind of made some stuff rlly random

I’m going to say the following songs replaced leaks: Death (obviously), Void (obviously), BOTL, Nymphology, The Contortionist, Spider Web, Evil

That leaves five songs that were not rewrites, in their place I’d guess: Sirens, Garden, Needle and Thread, Dragons Blood, and maybe Synchronicities

 

Songs always intended for the album: Tunnel Vision, Faerie Soiree, Light Shower, Leeches, Moon Cycle, Womb

well the obvious ones so far are Death, Void since they use the same title

she mentioned she couldn't write a better Tunnel Vision song so she kept that one..  which maybe means Nymphology is her attempt at another song based on nymphs/sirens

 

also she lowkey acts as if  she doesn't know Faerie Soiree, Moon Cycle and Leeches leaked too LOL she's only being passive-aggressive when it comes to Tunnel Vision which weirdly enough is the only song on the album in which K&OL were involved

The only one I knew for sure was nymphology replacing sirens, but I think it devastated her to replace it. She said herself it was her favorite track she has written for the album so far in that one session leak. My personal belief is that tunnel visions new intro was Melanies attempt to keep a part of Sirens on PORTALS, that snip is what has me convinced sirens had made it

We’ll never know if there was a finalized track list prior to her deciding for whatever reason to redo this album, in my opinion Sirens, Garden, and Needle and Thread were finished songs that were intended for the album. They are very polished in the state they were leaked.
