Cleopatra 1,099 Posted November 18, 2012 So I just came back from my friends house and we watched Magic Mike. Let's talk about how they trolled everyone with the ending. I've never been so frustrated. Watching Paris Is Burning. I'm loving it and I absolutely love the fashion back then.

That movie deeply scarred me when I was 12 years old. Needless to say, I became a huge Lars von Trier fan. Just watched When You're Strange, amazing Doors documentary.

Hahah, I watched it a couple of weeks ago or something. SPOILER ALERT I was very glad that it wasn't one of those happy ending movies, it was a breath of fresh air, hahah. 0 Quote last.fm

SPOILER ALERT I was very glad that it wasn't one of those happy ending movies, it was a breath of fresh air, hahah. It's been 10 years since I first saw it and I was SO unprepared for what I was going to see. I was discovering Björk then and I just thought, "Oh! Björk was in a movie! Must watch." I was a hysterical, sobbing wreck at the end. Yet at the same time, I felt better for it. I'm pretty sure it had a huge bearing on my current taste in films.

When that police guy took her money, me and my friend sat there with our mouths wide open and were like "WHAT. THE. FUCK?!", hahah. And when it ended we kinda just sat there and stared at the screen for a while since we were kinda in a schock. What's your favorite song from the soundtrack? 0 Quote last.fm

The whole film (and the series it's part of) is definitely a cinematic study in naturalism, so it's incredibly difficult to watch. But then again, Von Trier only deals with the most hideous aspects of human nature. He so crazy! Hmm, I think Scatterheart is my favorite. How about you?
