13 Beaches also comes after Lust for Life which was inspired by Peg Entwistle who was in a movie called Thirteen Women so maybe since LFL is about her suicide, maybe 13 Beaches is about the aftermath?

Ventura is a beach city north of Los Angeles. So she's describing that the 13th beach is far from Los Angeles and at paparazzi.

It is her in the spoken word intro to 13 beaches
