This song reminded me a little of Lana, but a male version. The lyrics and production kinda feel Lana-esque.

I really miss the strong hip hop influence from the early records which feel very few and far between on the last couple releases. Makes me curious if that was more of an influence from the producers of BTD and Paradise, or if it was just a phase that she's gradually grown tired of.

I think that was in the context of what "haters" were saying about her after BTD and the SNL stuff, early on.

I'd love to see an official release of Life is Beautiful and maybe a cover of Solar Twin?

I've always liked this version of Ride, maybe even more than Lana's original.

Interesting article talking about how Lana's "smiling" album cover breaks the mold of typical "fierce" looks from women on their album covers. This guy obviously put a lot of thought into.
