For me UV is just a difficult album for anybody to top-sure it’s not a wordy lyrical masterpiece(it wouldn’t fit the album) but it has good songwriting melodically and some great quotes lyrics/ is a storytelling experience- the production is on another level-west coast and shades of cool makes me ascend- i can’t imagine Lana ever making an album I’d consider better

Oh handstand was good and river but the songs were all too short and melodically lacking-those two were standouts though for sure

But those aren’t sales figures-you’ll have to take up with the person who stated it and made a thread

The album wouldn’t even be fresh in 2018- dated on arrival

It wasn’t a revenge album at all-it addressed some minor recent circumstances very vaguely and I’m one of the few on here who like the album. arcadia was satirically parodying America and her love for it-using BTD Esque strings. Black bathing suit had a few lines about people generating controversy from her comments giving her publicity=money. Textbook had her saying she supports BLM. Wildflower had a few lines supporting her having a strained relationship with her mom
