At this point this thread is literally just me having conversations with myself, but whatever... The best game since Breath of the Wild, literally the best game since Breath of the Wild! I pre-ordered it and I don't even have a Switch yet, and YOU should do the same!

Hmm after two full plays, I'm not entirely sure what to think. I like it, and there's definitely no bad songs on Cape God, it all seems very cohesive and organic. But I have to admit that the pre-release songs minus Devil I Know are easily the highlights of this album. None of the new tracks are as surprising as Fresh Laundry, as dramatic as Love Me Wrong, as striking as Regulars. However, I'm sure that the new songs are going to grow on me over time; after all, I needed some time with most of the singles as well. One thing I can say for sure is that it's a great body of work, I think I'll just have to sit down and spend some time with the songs as individual entities for a bit. Also, completely unrelated, but when did Dancing In The Dark leak? I just found it on YouTube pretty much by accident and I don't remember it being discussed here?

I lowkey like this idea...The atmosphere is so much better when everybody is actually there enjoying the moment rather than recording each and every song, ESPECIALLY with an artist like Madonna, who always puts out concert DVDs for every tour she does anyway.

You gotta revisit it for sure, and also listen to Confessions in full! I also think American Life deserves more attention from everybody, it can be a bit hard to get into it because it sounds so... different, but there's a lot of great stuff there, especially if you keep in mind when it came out (key word: Bush) and what times we live in today.
