So this song was originally on Rick's site as "Hollywood-KM-mix-015" WHICH leads me to believe it was a Kieron Menzies-produced version, since he works with Rick. This was probably the version he turned in for consideration, but the "final" version (which we still don't have) was done by Rick Himself. God I want this version. Hollywood is top 3 FOAT.

I'm more for the theory that she changes the lyrics in live shows to "We're ribbons in knots" while the studio version is in fact, "Blue Ribbons on ice". This is a repeated lyric from "This is What Makes Us Girls", when she sings "Pabst Blue Ribbon on ice". Pabst Blue Ribbon is a popular beer adopted by the hipster set. This, all of this. Lana's Songs are obsessed with the color blue, and I love thinking she feels some sort of connection with that particular shade (of cool). okay so i've been wondering how it'll be released. is this something that Interscope is gonna put the okey on, or will she have to find an alternate route to release it? i know she's been more open about her relationships with different artists (some of which have their own labels, or have the connections), and she could honestly self-release it with the amount she's amassed over the past couple of years. I really hope this is for real and not just some casual mention of a project that will never see fruition. she did say that "she's GOING to rerelease Hollywood at some point" and i could not have been happier. AND APPARENTLY IT GOT LEAKED WITH THE WRONG PRODUCTION AND HOW COULD THAT BE BECUASE THE LEAKED VERSION IS ACTUAL AURAL MAJICK. I JUST FUCKING LOVE LANA MAN AND I WANT ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS.
