  1. In Germany LFL debuted at #8 and now is at #14. (#12 at Amazon.de)
  2. I like the song but it's not one of my favourites on the album too. It just doesn't really sound like a Lana song, more like a "normal", almost radio friendly guitar song. Which is okay but a bit subpar for Lana standards. (imho) Same with TNC...
  3. It wasn't just someone, Rick Nowels himself said it in a Pitchfork interview. Actually I'm glad we got this stripped down version of the song – there are 15 other songs on the record with beats etc. so having one song without any further instrumentation and production is a gift imho.
  4. I'm waiting for her hard rock album!
  5. That interview was quite fun. Lana really seems to be happy these days.
  6. YES! I never had that with any other Lana lbum before tbh.
  7. Yay, congrats! My signed copy I bought on the UK store helped! (But Lana lost a sale in Germany that way...)
  8. I listened to the entire album 4 times but to individual tracks a lot more. But I try not to overplay it so the album stays fresh But it's interesting that I started to like "Summer bummer" (which I didn't like at all in the beginning) and WM is really growing on me (one of my favorites at this moment) while other songs, especially BPBP are falling on my personal list (I would've loved if there sonically were a bit darker songs in the second half of the album...).
  9. The 405 review of LFL is very good and euphoric (in case it wasn't already posted here): https://www.thefourohfive.com/music/review/review-lana-del-rey-s-emotional-epic-lust-for-life-shows-the-artist-in-deeper-and-resonant-shades-than-ever-150
  10. Seats are kinda boring but at least you can see Lana performing (no big guys can block your view) and you don't have to fight for your place. But I'd prefer standing.
  11. If someone needs an access code for the presale for the two UK shows (starting in about 40 mins) let me know since I won't be using mine.
  12. It is. I've seen Lana twice and both times I went alone, and it was magical nevertheless.
  13. From the officially released stuff I don't like "The Other Woman" and "Terrence Loves You".
  14. Tbh I liked Paul Heaton when he was still with The Housemartins and later with The Beautiful South. But this new album is really a joke...
  15. Well to my defense I came across the event when it was already sold out but I could've bought a ticket for 150 € on Ebay... which was a BIT too much for me. But maybe I should've done it anyway. This was her setlist: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/lana-del-rey/2011/gebaude-9-cologne-germany-53c58371.html "Off to the races" was already the last song of her set.
  16. That's what I think too – Lana's music shines best in smaller venues (imho). A club tour would be awesome but of course will never happen (and tickets would sell out in less than 1 sec.). I still remember that I had the chance seeing Lana 2011 in Cologne in a pretty small venue (Gebäude 9, with a capacity of 300–400 people!) but I wasn't sure if it would be worth it traveling 500 km for a couple of songs (she played 8, including "You can be the boss")... well... I hate myself now...
  17. I'm relieved that she spoke out loud what I was thinking throughout the entire interview – that Lana was sweet and such but didn't seem to be at ease in this interview.
  18. Same for me in Hamburg. Some of them even never heard Ride before...
  19. Well Lana was mostly known for Video Games and Summertime Sadness in Germany at that time and imo a lot of the people going to that concert just liked her music but weren't real FANS/stans (I wasn't in the "moshpit" but had a seat so that's where the more casual listeneres were I guess; some people there didn't even know the Paradise songs...). The generel public surely hadn't heard any of her leaks or earlier work so releasing old stuff would be new stuff to them.
  20. Actually I guess 95 % of casual Lana listeners never heard any of her unreleased stuff. When I went to her gig in 2013 in Hamburg no one around me knew her AKA album let alone leaked songs.
  21. German website Plattentests gave LFL a 7/10 (all of her albums got this score except HM which got 8/10): https://www.plattentests.de/rezi.php?show=14341 For those of you who can read german I also did a review at my music blog http://coast-is-clear.blogspot.com/2017/07/lana-del-rey-lust-for-life.html
