This music video is stellar, truly stellar.

I will try to interpret it later. Right now I'm just in awe, taking in its flawlessness.

This is a video I stumbled upon about Melania Trump and the possibility of her being abused by her husband, and honestly it is so disturbing. I don't know if I'm just buying into a lame conspiracy theory but there is definitely something fishy about a lot of these clips!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMV1HA2O3x8

The body language and undeniable lack of chemistry between the two is already rather awkward to watch, but seeing the way that Donald Trump just completely ignores and fails to acknowledge his wife's presence in a lot of these clips is appalling!
The way that he doesn't let her answer any questions in a lot of the interviews speaks volumes to me, about the level of power he seems to hold over her.
I cannot believe the way that he speaks about her body being more important than her personality, and how he says that he "goes off the roof" if dinner isn't ready when he arrives home, as if his wife is just some kind of commodity or robot meant to do all the jobs for him and provide sexual moments with, like she is some housewife from the 1950s/60s.
And of course, that appalling footage of him openly condoning sexual assault... and the ELEVEN women who have made charges against him, claiming he has raped them. Of course, rape is much more serious than just abusing someone through emotional manipulation, but I doubt that each of these women, including his own ex-wife, would have just made up these claims for no reason!
....But what got me the most out of everything in this video is the way that Melania's face immediately lights up with a fake smile when he turns to her, then instantly drops the second he turns away, moulding into a face full of fear and dread. That is not the face of a mentally healthy woman, that is the face of a disturbed and scared woman, and anyone who says otherwise is absolutely kidding themselves!

Regardless of whether she is really being abused or not, all I can say is that this is certainly no way for anyone to treat a partner in a relationship!

I am so upset that such a lovely couple like Michelle and Barack Obama are no longer the ones in the White House. They were such class acts, so dignified and clearly had a lot of love, adoration and respect for one another. Seeing such a disconnected pair like Trump and Melania is so disheartening. I really feel for Melania, being married to such a disgusting, vile swine like him, especially if the suspicions that she is being abused are actually true! I hope everything is OK and she is not being abused.

Look at you kids with your vintage music
    Comin' through satellites while cruisin'
You're part of the past, but now you're the future
    Signals crossing can get confusing

It's enough just to make you feel crazy, crazy, crazy
Sometimes, it's enough just to make you feel crazy

You get ready, you get all dressed up
    To go nowhere in particular
Back to work or the coffee shop
    Doesn't matter cause it's enough
To be young and in love (Ah, ah)
To be young and in love (Ah, ah)

Look at you kids, you know you're the coolest
The world is yours and you can't refuse it
Seen so much, you could get the blues
But that don't mean that you should abuse it

Though it's enough just to make you go crazy, crazy, crazy
I know, it's enough just to make you go crazy, crazy, crazy

But you get ready, you get all dressed up
    To go nowhere in particular
Back to work or the coffee shop
It don't matter cause it's enough
To be young and in love (Ah, ah)

    Hmm
    Don't worry, baby
    Hmm (Ah, ah)
    Hmm (Ah, ah)
    Hmm
    Don't worry, baby
And it's enough just to make me go crazy, crazy, crazy
It's enough just to make me go crazy, crazy, crazy

I get ready, I get all dressed up
    To go nowhere in particular
It doesn't matter if I'm not enough
For the future or the things to come
'Cause I'm young and in love (Ah, ah)
I'm young and in love (Ah, ah)

But thats the story of the song though. She isn't singing about Love with her, its love in general, she is actually singing a love anthem for us, thats why they're watching her on stage, her eyes turn into space first and then everyone is transported with her, shes the ring leader.

Music To Watch Boys to featured her........watching boys.

Freak was about being in a group setting with a cult leader.

She can't explore themes and stories just by herself visually, thats not very dynamic.

Realistically speaking those people there are way too calm and quiet to be the audience at a lana del rey concert tbh

Just copying and pasting my thoughts from the other thread: She looks absolutely beautiful in the video. Love her lil wink of course. I must admit though, I did feel some type of way seeing her look like she did on tour and then having the frame zoom out to see her performing on a small stage like the ones she was performing on in 2011. My, how times have changed. Also, weird note, but do you guys remember that fake song "Nonny Peeka Monger"that was hyped up as kind of a joke in 2013 during that one summer of leaks??? It was supposed to be about space. A false past foreshadowing the realistic present

Unbelievable video, so gorgeous and sad and hopeful. It's funny 'cause I told my husband last night that her new song is about our intergalactic possibilities and I was only half serious, and there you go!

This video is heaven. I'm such a sucker for retro space art. The luna blue tone is gorgeous~

I think this is the prettiest she's looked in a video since Born to Die. Stunning queen.

Me and my vintage music. My troubles with growing up. My dressing up with nowhere to go. And now Lana telling me it's okay to be crazy and young. She's literally telling me not to worry. I'm crying She knows her fanbase too much lol But now I'm sadder that I will never meet her and never become her friend. I feel like me and Lana share some mystic bound. And I bet I'm not the only one. The same retro soul and the saddest girl on earth aesthetics, romanticizing things that shouldn't be romanticized, escaping to the fictional world... Sorry for the rant but this song makes me feel soooo emotional

I think so too. Being in love with the world, in love with music, art, creativity, the love humanity is capable of

The lyrics are really simple and I truly love them. Maybe the "love" is not about a romantic relationship and it is about the love we need to show towards each other to change the world.

I'm delusional because i pointed out that lana said she wanted to reflect the current times with her music? and then after release a single about young kids becoming the future. ok, i don't think I'm the delusional one here

because she's speaking to a whole generation that is going through a difficult time and living through a turbulent era of politics. we have also witnessed her dipping her toes into politics and look at her insta bio--"you know where I've been, now let me show you where we're headed"--she's writing with more universal themes this time around instead of about her past. she's looking into the future, imagining it. i hope we see a lot more of that on the album.
  24. Jazzmin liked a post in a topic by Ultra Violet in Love
I had a feeling she'd do that somewhere on the album. Lana is incredibly smart imo and she's not shallow. Plus all the secret hints on social media. She had been hinting us the whole time probably Telling us the world is ours, that we make a difference. It's very democratic reallyNot the whole song ofc, just here and there we're part of the past, and now we're the future as well is a strong hint. She gets it.

There's so much packed in this record that it would be a travesty to overlook it all. 1st and foremost to me is the apparent message that can be conveyed. I feel like it speaks to the current political climate in america. With everything that has gone on these past few months.

    The lyrics:

Look at you kids, you know you're the coolest
The world is yours and you can't refuse it
Seen so much, you could get the blues
But that don't mean that you should abuse it

    [Pre-Chorus]
Though it's enough just to make you go crazy, crazy, crazy
I know, it's enough just to make you go crazy, crazy, crazy.

And to mention the last few lines of the 1st verse:

You're part of the past, but now you're the future
    Signals crossing can get confusing.

Another thing i'd like to point out is the "Don't Worry Baby" song lyric and brief melody usage which references the Beach Boys' 1964 record of the same name. Also If you listen back to both Love and Don't Worry Baby you can definitely pick up on a feel and hints of the Beach Boys' record throughout Love. The soundscape of music give mes the feeling of spacious, majestic, outside space with floating satellites. Which is why the poster and Lana's reference is well placed. There's a lot going on with this record as always with any of her music.
